Chapter 26: The Start of Discovery

Zayn's POV

I woke up with blood shot eyes and a killer headache. After the big talk in the living room ,I ransacked my scotch stash from under my bed and drank until I passed out.

The blue spiral designed curtains hid the bright light from hitting me so early in the morning. Either way I think I would have waken up with a hangover.  Boy am I going to hear it from Liam. Haha.

        I love to piss people off so much. What do they care anyways? Its not like they actually care for me and what I do. Even if they are my friends. I keep on thinking if I should of went with Vincent's offer. I could still be in Shadow Clan.

          I just realized im still in bed with my black boxers on. Yes okay I sleep. Just because were vampires doesnt mean we still dont sleep. The myth only tells half of the story. We can only sleep if we want to, or if we are wasted. 

             My comforter is so comfortable.  I shuffle my bed hair to make it look worse but, I gotta admit I look pretty hot. I turn my head slowly with my eyes still half closed. The clock says 1:45.

          With no care in the world, I get up to brush my teeth and fangs. I walk out of my room with my boxers on because everybody should be out of the house by then. Probably at school. Its a good thing we are off tour right now because I will not be able to handle all these fucking problems.

                 The glass house sounds very quiet. Yup nobody is here. Its only a Friday anyways. The kitchen is only a few feet a way and yet it seems to far for me. I pour some cereal and milk into a crystal bowl(preferably cookie crisp) and chomp away with a big spoon.

        Between chews and chomps I hear soft patters coming this way. I look and see Scarlet stretching and yawning at the same time. I cant help but STARE. Her pajamas conclude shorts that have black lace, a Victoria's Secret black laced bra, and a satin blue robe with blue furry slippers. WOW is the only thing I

could think of before she catches me staring.

"Could I help you?" She says sleeply with a little yawn.

"N..ooo" I stutter a little bit.

Im still shocked on how her body looks in her sleep wear. Is that how she sleeps? I see every curve turn smoothly as I look up and down at her when she stretches for a cup from the cupboard. Am I sick? Im falling for a werewolf!! She doesnt hate vampires anymore but doesnt mean I have to stop hating werewolves. Not after what they did to me.

                  Awkward silence continued to fill the kitchen. I have like some kind of.disease because I keep on staring at her as she moves around. Coming towards me by the counter to get the orange juice I cant help looking at her rack. Which are really nice.

"So why are you not at school?" I sound so stupid saying that, I know.

"I should be asking you that question , but since you asked first...... it's kind of personal but short answer is its about my mom. " I could see her eyes fill with sadness.

"I stayed after because I slept in." I reply.

She nods. Its weird not fighting with her. Kind.of.nice though. As she tries to go to the living room (which she has to pass me on the way) she trips on a chair leg, landing on my bare chest. I grab hold of her to help her balance herself.

         Scarlet looks up at me slowly realizing she landed on me and my bare chest , she blushes. I freeze at her blushing cheeks which makes my knees go a little weak and my heart does a little skip. Just staring into each others eyes we stay stiff, until we hear someone calling her name.

"Scarlet!" The voice comes from the entry way.

I let go of her slowly. Raven comes with a present in his hand.

"Raven!" She squeals happily.

And runs to hug him. I feel jealousy burn inside of me. He hugs her back passionately.  He just ignores me like im invisible. He hands her the present. Opening it she reveals a diamond necklace.

"Thank you" she hugs him again.

"Its your mom's birthday its the least I could do. " he smiles at her radiance. 

Raven couldn't convince Scarlet to go to school so he left her to her room. I think I might have discovered something.. .... I think i'm getting feelings for Scarlet.
