Chapter 36: The Missing

Allison's POV

We all decided to leave with Dwayne and Jace to find the scent that followed Scarlet from school to where ever she is now. The school called earlier saying Scarlet and Zayn ditched their class trip. 
            We all know Scarlet loves history so she wouldn't have ditched, especially with Zayn. For a reason we all know she doesnt want to get too attached to him, i mean she is trying to get the imprintion off.

The sound of a twig cracking breaks my thoughts. I am not in my wolf form so I could sly threw the woods without being seen. I look up to Ruby to see if she heard the cracking.

I heard it but it wasnt any of us, she explains to me.

Dwayne,Jace,and Kalver nod towards us to evacuate foward. April is behind and gives orders to Niall and Liam. They have to search around the east side of the woods. But we all have to stay close. Harry and Louis pop out of the tree behind me and put a finger over there mouth to quiet me.

'Over there' Harry mouths.

Ruby nods to Raven. Thats his signal. We hear the sound getting closer.

Hide now! Kalver yells at us

April tells the vampires what Kalver said. Harry orders the boys to hide and they jump into the trees. CRACK!!! Suddenly Jace pounces and lands on somebody.

"OWW!!!" the person crys out in pain.

Jace gets up with the person in his muzzle. He has black hair with blond streaks. Looking up at us I could see his hazel eyes.

"Fegan?" I turn to see Louis drop down from the tree.

"Hey Louis. Haven't seen you in years. " he looks perfectly calm as ever. He doesn't even struggle and fight Jace to let him down. 

"Im here on a mission. I wont hurt you guys calm down. Louis knows I wont" he speaks to Louis as a help/me/out/here/bro kind of thing.

"Is he what he says he is?" Dwayne asks Liam a little harshly.

"He is telling the truth he wont hurt you. The reason why he became a Lonewalker is because he claimed him self a friend to all werewolves. He travels with Harry's Dad. " he looks at the vampire called Fegan.

Jace slowly lets go of the vampire and he drops with a thunk. As he gets up and dusts of his black jeans.

"Whats your misson that you so badly want to do? And how is it a coincidence that now that Scarlet is gone you suddenly show up?" Raven grabs the blonde vampires coat collar.

Fegan bares his teeth at him and pulls Raven off.

"Because my mission as of now I need to protect Harry and Scarlet. " he hisses.

What?Why? Why does he need to protect Scarlet? She is a werewolf. I know he likes werewolves, but a mission to protect one?

"I know where Zayn and Scarlet are so follow me. Or stay there and argue among yourselves how im not to be trusted" Fegan turned on his heel and walked deeper into the woods.

Should we trust him?, Vine jumps down from the rock.

Its the only way we know if he knows were Scarlet is, Ruby then walks forward as well.

Just as I was going to follow Them as hand grabs my arm. I turn my head. Liam

"Stay close" he whispers.

"I can take care of myself" I answer back nicely.

"I dont want you get hurt and I dont need to worry where you are" this takes me by shock.

Why does he care or worry about me. What shocked me the most is that I nodded in agreement and followed close behind him.

Please dont start falling for him. Dwayne looks at me with sad eyes.

Dont worry, is all i say back. Im sorry Dwayne but I cant make that promise.

Fegan stops infront of a steel wall. What the.... What is a steel wall doing in the middle of the woods?! Im still behind Liam quiet and uncomfortable. For a reason I cant explain I feel warm around Liam.
I feel warm around Dwayne too but that because Im embarrassed to mess up infront of him. When I'm infront of Liam I feel confident.  Am I okay?
              
"Why Is there a steel door in the middle of the woods?" Ruby literally took the words out of my mouth.

The wall starts making a shifting noise. Slowly rumbling the wall slides open. Behind it is Zayn and Scarlet. Scarlet looks up with a exasperated look.

"Fegan?" Scarlet looks at the vampire next to Raven.

"The one and only" he bows with a smile.

Scarlet runs to Fegan and hugs him. Fegan has a big grin on his face as they depart. In front of me I could see Liam look back at me. Is he okay? He has been acting really weird lately.

"I need you to explain this. Then you could tell me why your here. " she says seriously to Fegan. 

She looks over at us. "You guys need to see this too. " Scarlet leads the way.

Liam then get behind me. "Stay close" he whispers to me.

Im so confused right now, but again I listen and walk towards the dark hole. As I enter I could smell blood, some fresh and new other scents are old and rotten.

"Does everybody smell that?", Vine crinkles his nose.

"Its this. " Scarlet points to something on the floor.

A dead body.  And also a girl's dead body.  This is one of the missing girls.  Looking around I see Three more girls but with old blood.

"What is this? So Vincent has been killing the girls." Ruby looks horrified.

"All along we thought it was you guys" April looks at Niall with an apologetic look.

"It's alright. If I were you guys I would have thought it was us too. " Harry waves off the apology.

Fegan doesnt look like he is.shocked at all. Did he know about this? Probably.

" They werent killing them for sport, Scarlet. They were trying to turn them into vampires. But these girls didn't end up surviving the change." Fegan says to Scarlet but doesnt look at her.

We all gasp im shock. More vampires. But why only girls? Are they shortage on female vampires or something?

"Why on girls?" wow Dwayne really took out the words out of my brain.

It took a few minutes before Fegan answered Dwayne's question.

"Vampires can reproduce so they are trying to get more females to produce more vampires. They want more vampires for....." he cut off with his jaw clenching.

"What is it fegan?" Scarlet slowly says.

"For a vampire army. "
