Chapter 27: Carnival Ride

Nialls POV

The wind glistened tonight. Laughter filled the clear air air and the sound of winning players filled my ears. The carnival was the only thing that kept the human part of me alive. Today was the anniversary of my exile from the Viper clan. I remember everything from that day. I woke up to take a shower and immediately had the urge to sing my favorite song: Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. Everyone shunned me in the clan even my soon to be mate,Victoria.

         Vampire law says if a vampire could carry tune like the werewolf that vampie must be exiled for the vampire must belong to the wolf. But of course the werewolves wouldnt have me because of my vampirness. So I became a Lonewalker with my band. We wanted to use our talent instead of drowning our

days as Lonewalkers we became One Direction.

I brought a girl here today. I dont know who she is.or what her name is. I just wanted to see if she will be a great mate. As far as im concerned she sucks.She talks way to much and she is very demanding. I didnt even get to go on a ride i wanted to. Im looking around to see a distraction to get rid of her. Nothing but people minding their own buisness.  As I look up I see the ferris wheel. YES!! People get lost on the ferris wheel all the time. CRASH!! I accidentally bump into somebody.

"Umph, Oops, im so sorr....." I look up to see April's big brown eyes looking straight at me.

I marked her on the new full moon, like if I raped her. I was supposed the mark Victoria on her birthday until I found my new voice she left me for a guy named Claude. I marked a werewolf. Sad for me. I got to admit though She is really hot. I guess vampire arent the only ones that getting startling transformations. That what I never understood why do we hate werewolves so much? We are.exactly like them, except for the whole changing into a wolf part.

"Oh no it fine it not like it everyday I get bumped into. And besides some of it was my fault i was just looking at the ferris wheel."  I could tell she started off with sarcasm but quickly caught herself. She likes the ferris wheel huh? Heres my chance.

"Let me make it up to you." I guickly grab her arm and pull her towards the carnival ride. I ignore her.protests and give the man two tickets and hopped into the swinging seat.

"Why did you drag me here?" she asks me as we head up slowly.

I look at her angered face. I notice she has a little bit of mascara and light gold eyeshadow. Snap out of it Niall. But I cant I look down at what she is wearing. She has a i love pink shirt but the shirt is actually blue and dark mahogany brown pants with black kiks.

"I wanted to yet away from her" I point down at the girl who I came with shouting at me. I mostly looked down to get my eyes and mind off of April.

"Ohhh so I was just an escape route from your date. " She crosses her arms.  Cute.

"Why you jealous?" I smirk only to get a reaction I didnt expect.  Stumped.  Was she jealous? Did i hit her right on the dot? Nah.

"Why would I be jealous of a blond vampire?" she catches herself from her stumped look to a stubborn one.

"Maybe because you actually like this vampire?" I keep on going. For some reason I want to see what comes out of this.

"In your ...."

She doesnt get to finish because the ferris wheel jolts for a bit making the cart we are sitting in move quite alot. I lips touch. Magic just seemed to flow through the kiss making me want something more.than just one small kiss.  Kissing her more hard I lut my hand on her cheek only for her to swat it out of the way and push me back.

"What the hell!!!" I could see tears coming to her eyes.

The ferris wheel man lets us out as our cart gets to the floor. April bolts out fast with tears flowing down fast. I lose her easily.in the crowd. I try to catch up with her to say im sorry. I stop to realize something though.  Im not sorry.
