Chapter 22: Dark Secret

Scarlet's POV

My vision came to me slowly and a little fuzzy. I shot my body out of shock. What the? I was tied to a chair with silver chains. Who ever did this to me, obvioulsy knows that im not normal. I try shaking out of the chains, no use.

"You cant shake out of those" I looked up and saw a cute guy with black with blonde streaks and hazel eyes. He was wearing a black trenchcoat and black combat boots.

"You really take you vampire thing to the core,huh?" I smirk.

He flashes me white pearlies. Coming a little closer another one enters the room.

"How do u know im a vampire?" He playing with me.

"You reek of death and oranges" i spat. I try to attempt shaking out of the chains because obviously I wouldnt be able to break them.

"Hey calm down, we're not gonna hurt you. I don't hate werewolves." He puts his hands on my legs to stop me.

I reach to bite him in the face, but he retracts back. The other guy that came in after laughed.

"Careful she might bite your bal----" he stops talking to an opening door.

Another vampire enters the dark musky room. He kind of looks like Harry, and he has that same peppermint smell, but he has black hair,and blue eyes. Even though vampires dont age and cant tell how old they are, you could tell how long they,ve been alive by the aura they carry around. This vampire carried a deep strong aura with him. Should I be worried?

"Let me out vampire scum." I growl.

"Well dont we have a fiesty on our hands" The man with the heavy aura says.

He chuckles. Fuck, I hate it when people are so calm and im so pissed off.

"Were your friends, no need to be hasty" , still as calm as fuck.

I wiggle a little more in my seat to attempt getting out of the chains.

"Well guess what, Bruce the great white, if you were mg friends I wouldnt be chained now would I?"

He looks,at me as if i made a point. He nods towards blondie, "Fegan, untie her"

He comes towards me slowly, hes afraid to lose his manlyhood. He should be. I could hear everything he is doing, i hear him put the key in and then the sound of the lock click open. Then a slam on the floor, my chains are off.

I try to escape, but my wolf senses say not too, damn my curious side! I also cant leave because since they showed me kindness and no harm. I must keep my word and hope they mean what they are doing.

"Why didnt she escape?"the red head cutie said. He blushed at me. He could read my thoughts?

You know its not nice to hear a ladies conversation with out asking, i grin at him. He blushes again with a sly smile.

"Because Djaba, werewolf is sworn to anyone who shows them kindness, even a vampire" the aura vampire said.

What's his name?

Its Azra. Djaba replies.

I wink at him. Back to business.

"Why did you kidnapp me at night? Why did you kidnapp me at all?" I ask Azra.

"So you could know the Dark secret everyone has been keeping from you for years" he put on a seroius face.

The dark secret? Keeping it from me? For years? How long? Why? And who?

"What Dark secret and why tell me know,and not years before?"

He jesters me to sit down, i can handle this im not just sick cub in the middle of a dark forrest anymore.

"No i can stand up and take it like a Luna."

I growl

I can see saddness grow in his eyes, "your just like your mother" he softly says.

My mom? This stops me in my tracks. How does he know my mom? I start to breath a little heavy, i try to picture and image of her. Her beautiful green eyes and curly brown hair blowing in the wind. Se was killed by a vampire leader right when i turned 4 on my birthday. Which reminds me is in a couple of days.

"How do you know my mom, I barley even remember her or how she talked. I was four when she died, my mom taught me everything I knew on being a Luna, my dad was always hunting so shw had to teach me the ways of leading. Then when she was murdered i lost everything that was apart of me " I start to choke up.

"listen to what I have to say and you will understand everything. You dont have to fear us, we like werewolves. But we are wanted from vampire society for doing so" He says calmly.

I sit down on the uncomfortable chair. Maybe these guys are my friends. "About the secret...." before he could finish someone comes bursting in.

"What the?" Azra and his friends leave before fhe person who bursted in could jump them, why did they leave me?

I turned and knew exactly why, it was someone i knew.
