Chapter 29:Ruby's Secret Valentine wish

Ruby's POV

It's Valentines Day. Yay! Im meant that to be as sarcasm. More like fools day. As I walk the halls of school I sigh in disgust as I see everybody receiving ballons and chocolates in return are sloppy kisses.

Eelch!!! Stupid day. I shouldnt have come today. My ear twitches a bit from a sound coming from behind me. It's Vine with a hand behind his back.

"Hey Ruby I just --- got you a little something for Valentine's Day." he removes his hidden hand from his back.

It was a little teddybear with a cute red rose. Ohh. This is awkward. I hate Valentine's Day. I thank him also awkwardly. I try not to sound so statistic. I walk off really fast with the teddybear in hand.

"Screw fucking Valentine's Day. " boom!! I crash into the principal.

Well here I am in detention for two days. Uh,cant keep my mouth shut. Only myself and a teddybear to talk to.

I look around to see anyone I might know. I turn and see Louis right next to me. His shirt saying do u want this? And an arrow pointing towards a VERY private place.

"Dont you just hate Valentines Day?" he looks up at me.

"You have no idea " I reply.

"Doesnt look like it." he nods towards my teddybear.

"I didn't ask for it" i frown. "He is just trying to get me to imprint on him instead. He doesnt even know what i like. " I know that was a little personal.

He nods his head. Why does he mAke me feel so funny? Vine was the one who gave me a gift, why didnt he make me feel this way?

"Let ditch Valentine's Day." he says really fast.

I blink a couple of times. Im shocked did he just ask me to ditch Valentine's Day with him? He did,duh. Ruby think. What should I say? I should say no, but ....

"Okay"

We head out through the window. We did so many things today. We saw the new movie 50 shades of Grey. Christian Grey is so freakin hot. I want him to take my clothes off. Anyways...

Then after the movie we hung out at the basketball court. And Louis kind of broke some Windows trying to aim at the basket so we left. Now we are back at the house. Right now I have no idea where he is. Im alone. On the couch. Again.

"Hey Ruby" Louis comes in with a black basketball. "I bought you one, i know you don't like Valentines Day so just think of it as a i owe you one present. " he throws it to me.

"No one has ever gotten me a present that i liked on Valentines Day. " I get up from the couch and kiss him on the cheek. He goes cold turkey and stands there speechless.

"Lets go shoot some hoops" I try to sound casually over the sound of my beating heart.

He follows me. Oh man this isnt good. Why did i just kiss him?! Omg!! I wish I didnt have to fall for the wrong guy.
