*Sophia's POV*

It's been 3 days since Lucca's arrival and I've still been staying with Jason. I filled him in on everything and he was okay with me going back home as long as I come back to visit him to which of course I agreed to do so.

Lucca has been staying at one of his hotels here in NYC, he owns a variety of them all around the world actually— no surprise there. He works really hard and I couldn't be more proud of him.

Today I made plans with Jason, he kept complaining about how I was spending less and less time with him lately.

So to make up for it, I agreed to this whole day outing he had planned out for us but won't tell me anything about it. Typical Jason, he loves these surprises.

As for Lucca, he had some business meetings to attend to so I made a mental note to tell him later about me being out today knowing he'll probably be very busy with work. I didn't even know where Jason was taking me.

"Hey babe! You ready?!" Jason screamed from the living room.

"Yeah gimme a sec!" I applied some simple nude lip gloss and grabbed my phone as I made my way to the living room to see Jason on his phone waiting for me. He looked up with a smile as he heard me enter.

"Come on slow poke let's go" he said and grabbed my hand leading me out after locking the front door behind him.

"So you going to tell me where we're going now?" I looked at him in question as we drove off.

He just shook his head with a smile and focused on the road ahead of him.

I rolled my eyes at him and crossed my arms over my chest staring out the window.

Our song Tongue Tied by Grouplove started playing on the radio— Jason and I love this song, we began singing, more like screaming, the words and laughing at all the stares we got from people in their cars driving next to us.

'Take me to your best friend's house! I loved you then and I love you now ohhhh yeahhhh!!'

The air felt breezy and I just soaked in all the scenery we passed along the drive. It really was a beautiful day out.

Soon Jason slowed the car down and stopped at a beautiful lake and lovely cabin surrounded by all sorts of wildflowers. I looked over at him in question raising my eyebrows.

"Well, I've never brought you here before, but this is my grandparents cabin. I used to come here a lot as a kid with them and they said once I'm older I can use it whenever I want sooooo-" he reached over into the backseat and pulled out a picnic basket "I thought we'd have a picnic and swimming bestie-chill-day"

"Awwww Jase this is so sweet, I love you Jasy" I hugged him and he hugged me back chuckling.

"I love you too Soph, now come on let's go"

We got out and stepped inside the cabin, the place was so gorgeous. It felt cozy with its large wooden pillars and that comforting smell of wood, it reminded me of the smell you get from sniffing pages of an old book.

"Go on get changed, I packed in a bikini for you myself because I didn't wanna spoil the surprise and tell you to pack one" he smiled and threw a back pack my way.

I laughed as I walked into the bathroom and changed into the floral patterned bikini Jason had packed for me. I walked out and saw he also got changed into his swimming trunks.

We walked out onto the grass near the lake and laid out the blanket and picnic basket. The water sparkled underneath the sunlight, it surely was all a sight to take in.
