Chapter 13

*Sophia's POV*

"How do you know I was with a guy?" I asked glaring at him, has he been spying on me?

"Answer my fucking question first! Who was that guy?!" he growled and grabbed my arms.

I tried to get out of his grip but he wouldn't budge

"HE'S JUST A FRIEND!! LET ME GO!" I screamed at him

"Friend?! Then why the fuck were you at the beach with him and exchanged numbers with him?!" He yelled

"I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!! You can't control me Lucca!!" I screamed back at him

"Listen to me carefully baby. You're mine and mine alone. This body in my hands is mine, every inch of you, belongs to me. If you ever let another man touch what's mine, I'll kill the fucker in front of your eyes. No male should even think about you or else I'll have their head" he growled in a low dangerous voice that sent chills up my spine.

"Do you understand Sophia?" he asked in anger

I looked up into his eyes, they were dark, filled with rage and possessiveness, there was no love in them. The loving Lucca I first met was gone and now replaced by a mad man.

I felt tears roll down my cheeks, I didn't want this part of Lucca, I wanted the man I fell in love with 2 years ago. I wanted the man who would do anything to make sure I was happy and felt loved.

I saw Lucca's eyes soften a bit and his grip loosened on my arm, I quickly ran upstairs and heard footsteps running after me.

I went inside the room and straight to the bathroom. I rushed in and locked the door just as I heard banging on the other side.

"Sophia open this door right now!" Lucca screamed and I cried as I slid down the wall. I brought my knees up to my chest, staring at the door that was being pounded on.

"Baby please open the door" after a few minutes the banging stopped and I figured he went away and finally gave up. Although I was wrong as I heard the sound of keys jiggling, then the click of the door being unlocked.

Lucca rushed in and bent down engulfing me in a hug, right now I was too vulnerable so I hugged him back and cried my eyes out.

"Shhh baby. I'm sorry for lashing out on you like that, please don't cry, you're breaking my heart, my love" he sounded pained.

"Everything is s-so messed up, you having a kid with someone else— I still love y-you Lucca, why would you do this to me? Why? What did I ever do to deserve this?" I cried out

"I'm so sorry baby, I promise everything will be fine, I'll try to fix this, I love you so much. I didn't mean to cause you this much pain..." I heard his voice croak and when I looked up I saw Lucca was crying too now. I cried even harder and hugged him tight to which he hugged me even tighter.

We both just sat on the bathroom floor crying.

"Please don't leave me baby..." Lucca whispered sadly in my ear.

I don't remember what happened after that, all I know is that when I woke up, it was morning and I was laying on a bed.

I felt something heavy draped over my stomach and when I looked over at Lucca's side, I saw it was his arm over me and his face was just centimeters away from mine.

A sad smile made it's way on to my face, this man will never give up will he? He really meant it when he said he won't let me go.

Good.
Because neither will I baby...

I tried to get up, key word 'tried'. But this man only gripped me tighter and brought me closer to him. He nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck and mumbled something I couldn't quite comprehend.

I sighed and laid back down.

After a few minutes I really had to pee, so I pushed Lucca's arm off of me with all of my given strength.

"mhmmm go back to sleep baby" he mumbled and tried to grab me again but I moved away and got up quickly leaving him to groan and flutter his eyes open, adjusting his vision to the bright light.

He then stretched out his arms and propped himself up on his elbows.

When I looked at Lucca again he was smirking like a fool now.

"I know I'm quite the sight to watch baby but you don't have to stare, this body is all yours"

Just as I was about to say something, I was cut off by the sound of a phone buzzing. We both looked in the direction it was coming from, it was Lucca's phone on the nightstand.

I picked it up to give to him, but before I gave it I saw that it was three messages from a contact named Savannah. Who is Savannah? I began getting angry again, but then I saw the three messages that broke my heart into a million pieces.

'Lucca baby can we meet up?'
'We have to go see Mason soon'
'When are you free?'

It was the bitch.

I sadly handed the phone over to Lucca who took it with a frown, once he looked at it he sighed in frustration.

"Baby look-" he began talking but I cut him off

"Save it Lucca, go meet up with the woman" I sighed in exasperation.

"But baby you don't understand I've been ca-" he spoke again but I cut him off again.

"Lucca please" I said more louder now to which he groaned and shoved his face into the pillow.

I jumped when he threw his phone on the floor and it shattered.

This man is crazy

I sighed and made my way to the bathroom to do my business, then went downstairs to go make me breakfast.

I sat down on one of the kitchen counter stools and began eating some cereal. Soon Lucca came down dressed in a dark grey suit with a black tie.

God he looks so handsome, if we were on good terms I probably would have jumped him right now.

He walked over to me and I looked at him skeptically.

He smirked at me, then looked at my bowl of cereal. He then picked up my spoon with some cereal in it and ushered it towards my mouth. I looked at him with a frown and hesitantly opened my mouth and ate the cereal.

When he pulled it out of my mouth, he picked up some more cereal with the spoon but instead of feeding it to me— he brought it up to his mouth and ate it with a smile.

"I have to go take care of some business at work but I'll be home earlier today" He kissed the side of my head and smiled at me softly.

"I love you" he said and then walked away and out the door

I love you too

That's what my heart was saying everyday, but my mind was shut down from saying it.
