*Lucca's POV*

"Are they working together or something?" I asked frustrated with these stupid people I call employees.

"N-no sir he's just related to her" the guy holding a smart tablet in his hand stuttered looking terrified.

"Okay, what else did you find?" I glared at him as he tapped something on his device nervously.

"We also d-discovered that she's after someone, plotting something against this p-person. I got this information from a source down in LA, sir"

"Well do you know who gave you this information? or who she's plotting against?"

"I got this information from my friend in LA, he spoke to a guy who owns a firearm store. He confirmed a lady coming in and offering him a huge sum of money for a hand gun and b-bribery for him to keep his mouth shut. Obviously we convinced him to s-spill the beans with some bribery of our own. Besides his confession, we checked the store's cameras and it showed her face clearly confirming it was her" Oh fuck she bought a gun?

So I had my guys dig up some information on Savannah. Turns out that Ryan is Savannah's cousin

Small fucking world it makes no sense.

Although he has no part in her plot nor does he know anything about her plans. Of course that doesn't mean that he's off the hook— he's still the fucker that is being all friendly with my girl so that gives me even more of a reason to keep an eye on him. Right now I need to find out what Savannah is planning so I can confront her about it and make the bitch pay for causing so much fucking problems in my life.

"Okay, find me more information and don't come back until you get everything you fucking can" I sneered and he quickly scurried out of my office.

Tomorrow is Saturday— the day I'm supposed to be seeing Ryan. Getting back at Lucca is childish and I don't have energy for more bullshit. Although I am excited because I get to be out instead of being cooped up in this house all day. I keep thinking about Lucca.

He definitely won't be happy when he finds out I went, that's for sure.

But hey— I dont got a job or anyone else right now to keep myself occupied. Lucca won't let me even get a job, he said I don't need to work because 'princesses' don't work.

Like seriously, he treats me like I'm some kind of fragile piece of glass. Yes it is cute when he says stuff like that, but it can get really annoying at times too.

Just then my phone started buzzing, I looked at the caller ID. Jason.
Now this put a huge smile on my face.

"Heyyy Jaseyyyyy"

'Heyyyy Sophie-Wofie!' he laughed causing me to laugh as well.

"Wellllll, what's up? I miss you babes"

'That's why I'm calling bitch!! I got a surprise for you!' he said excitedly over the phone

"Really??! What did you get-" I got cut off by the sound of the doorbell.

"Hey Jase, hang on there's someone at the door" I went to the door and opened it to check who it was.

To my shock there stood Jason, my best friend— smiling wide at me with open arms.

"Surprise!!" he screamed and I screamed in excitement lunging at him to give him a hug. He lifted me off the ground and spun me around as we laughed.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked excitedly while he put me back down on the ground.

"I came to visit my best friend obvi, soooooo how do you like your surprise?" He smirked

"Omg!! I love it! Thank you for coming to visit! I'm losing my mind being cooped up in this house all day, come in and make yourself at home" I led him into the living room after shutting the door behind him.

"You shouldn't be thanking me, you should be thanking that hot piece of meat you got as a boyfriend" he smirked as we sat down on the sofa.

I looked at him in confusion with my eyebrows furrowed together.

"What do you mean?" I asked him curiously

"Well, yesterday I got a call from your boyfriend, I was so ready to fucking yell at him for the whole situation with the bitch and kid thing. Buuutttt— before I could say anything he cut me off and explained some stuff to me. Saying that once he finds out the truth he'll tell you first and clear up this mess. So I sort of let him off the hook, he sounded genuinely sorry for putting you in this situation and he said he's going to fix everything. Oh! And he's the reason I'm here. He said I should come down and surprise you so he got me a first class flight here to Italy, which by the way— I'm new around here so you gotta show me some places, specifically food places and those Italian hotties" Jason winked at me and I laughed at him.

Wow Lucca flew Jason all the way out here

"Wow, I-I dont know what to say. That was so nice of him. I'll be sure to thank him later..." I smiled sadly looking down.

"Hey. Babes everything is going to be alright, okay? Don't worry" he hugged me and started rubbing my back soothingly.

I nodded while hugging him back.

"I'm glad you're here with me Jase, I really needed this type of comfort right now. I needed my bestfriend"

"I'll always be here for you Soph, always..." I laid my head down on Jason's lap while he softly brushed my hair with his hand and began singing something that made me feel a whole lot better.
