Chapter 18

*Sophia's POV*

Well today is the day— I'm seeing Ryan. Yesterday I must have fallen asleep a bit earlier since Lucca wasn't home by the time I dozed off with Jason on the couch. Wait, is Jason still here?

I looked around and saw I was in the bedroom and changed into my night gown. Lucca probably changed me.

I walked downstairs and was immediately engulfed with the smell of maple syrup. When I rounded the corner into the kitchen, I saw Lucca was busy pouring maple syrup onto a stack of delicious looking pancakes.

The pancakes are not the only thing looking all delicious
Ughhh no! focus Sophia!

Lucca hadn't noticed me walk in yet so I cleared my throat causing him to quickly look up and smile at me.

"Good morning" he said and sat down at the kitchen counter with his plate of pancakes.

"Good morning, you made pancakes?" I asked curiously as I took my plate and sat down next to him.

"Yes, I did. Thought I'd surprise you. Yesterday when I came home I saw you were already passed out on the couch with Jason so I woke him up first and showed him to the guest room to go sleep in there. Then I carried you up to our room and changed you into your night gown" He said casually and took a bite of his pancakes.

I looked down at my pancakes and suddenly remembered I hadn't thanked him yet for flying Jason down here.

"Uh... Lucca" I spoke softly

"Hm?" he said looking at me now while chewing his pancake in his mouth.

"Well— I just wanted to say thank you. For you know— flying Jason down here"

"You're welcome baby" he leaned over and kissed my cheek, I blushed and smiled softly at him.

Should I tell him about me still going out with Ryan today? If I don't he'll throw a fit.

"Uh, Lucca?" I asked nervously and instantly he looked at me smiling.

"Yes, my love?" He gave me his full attention now and put down his fork.

"I— Well. You know, when I told you about Saturday. Which is today...About me-" his face held confusion for a second before realization dawned upon him and he looked at me with a hard expression.

"No, you're not going" He then went back to eating his pancakes and I sighed in frustration at him.

"Yes Lucca I am, you can't control who I can or cannot see"

"You're not going and that's final, Sophia"

"Yes I am, watch me" I got up to go upstairs but Lucca quickly got up and grabbed my arm turning me to face him.

"If you won't obey me then you leave me no choice, baby" I looked at him confused.

"What do you mea-" I was cut off by Lucca throwing me over his shoulder effortlessly and walking upstairs towards our bedroom as I screamed and tried to get him to put me down.

"LUCCA!! PUT ME DOWN, ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY?? LET ME GO!!!!!!" I screamed as he finally put me down on the bed causing me to bounce a bit and walked out closing the room door behind him. Then I heard a click. I ran over to the door and started banging on the door.

Did he just lock me in here?

"You're not going out with that guy, I'll let you out once you cool off. I love you baby!" I heard his footsteps getting distant as I groaned and banged on the door.

"Lucca!! Let me out of here!! Lucca please!!!!" I screamed and banged once more before I stopped and groaned once I realised that no one was going to get me out of here. I walked over to the bed and sat down in frustration.
