Chapter 20

*Lucca's POV*

This is all my fucking fault. I knew that crazy bitch was on the loose and now I'm paying the price for it all.

I felt so broken right now, Sophia was immediately rushed to the hospital and I made sure she was seen to. I got the best doctors to see to her and to make sure she's okay. Thankfully the doctor said the bullet hadn't done any real internal damage, but due to all the blood she lost and all the stress her body was experiencing— she went into a coma and I was currently sitting by her side. I was holding her hand as tears streamed down my face.

Jason was on her other side, he had his head in his hands and was silently sobbing. Oh and the fucke- I mean Ryan. I couldn't believe he was one of the doctors. One of the best actually so he also helped Sophia, he was the one who removed the bullet. He helped save Sophia and I'll forever be grateful for that. He's still a fucker though.

I called Sophia's parents, her brother and my dad too and they immediately rushed over here. Well unfortunately my dad was on a business trip in the US but said he'll be here early tomorrow morning. After I explained everything to them and who shot her, Pablo and her dad were enraged while her mom starting crying and telling us we need to find Savannah before she tries something else. That was something I planned on doing. Finding Savannah and making her pay for what she did.

I told Jason and Sophia's mom to stay with Sophia at all times, I even called two of my security guards to come to the hospital and watch over Sophia.

I left with Pablo and Sophia's dad as we went to my office and got to work on how to get Savannah.

I contacted my best people to search for Savannah, yet still nothing. I was getting frustrated when I remembered something. She has a son. I smirked and made a quick phone call to one of my buddies in LA and told him what he needed to do.

After a few minutes I got a phone call from him saying he did what I asked and is on the next flight over here to Italy.

I smirked and started planning my little revenge scheme in my head. I'm not evil enough to harm an innocent kid, but I can and will use the kid to my advantage in order to lure Savannah here.

Frederico and Pablo said I should go to the hospital because Sophia needs me right now. They will take care of the plans while I'm gone.

I rushed to the hospital and as I hurried towards Sophia's room, I saw Jason rushing out and had his hands curled up in his hair while crying. I quickly rushed over to him and shook him demanding that he tell me what happened.

"S-Sophia— the doctors rushed in, she- she went into a seizure. Her heart rate was d-decreasing and she— FUCK!" He sobbed angrily and I felt my heart sink.

It can't be... Please God. Please let she be okay.

"No— you're lying" I said angrily and gripped his collar tightly.

"She's not gone! She's okay. They said she was okay!!" I screamed as I felt someone grab my arm and I saw it was Sophia's mom who was crying even more now, I shook my head begging her to tell me it's all a lie.

She nodded her head and hugged me crying into my chest, I hugged her back and soon enough. Tears were streaming down my face and my chest felt tight.

I lost her? How could I have lost her? It's not true. Can't be fucking true.

I sobbed and cried mumbling things like 'how could I let this happen' 'No she wouldn't leave me' 'I was going to spend the rest of my life with her' I slid down the wall with my head in my hands and cried. I cried and sobbed like a baby but that didn't last long until we heard a doctor rushing out of her room. I quickly looked up and he had a huge smile on his face.

"She's stable, her heart rate is stabilizing" He said and I was the first one up and rushing to see her.

I ran in and saw her beautiful figure laying there, she looked like sleeping beauty. Just in this life, true love's kiss wouldn't work as much as I would want it to.

I went to her side and took her hand in mine, I kissed her hand and silently cried.

"Please come back to me. Baby please, I need you" I painfully whispered to her hoping she could hear me.

The beeping of her heart monitor was the only thing that kept my hopes high, as long as that monitor keeps beeping. I know my baby is okay.

She wouldn't leave me.

I rested my head onto her bed side and stared at her. Soon I started feeling sleepy too.
