Chapter 25

*Sophia's POV*

So today I'm getting married, I'm exactly 5 months pregnant now so my belly is really starting to show. I'm super nervous, excited— might be a bit lightheaded.

Calm down Sophia, calm the fuck down.

A knock on the door broke me free from my thoughts.

"Come in"

In walks my dad with the proudest smile upon his face, instantly bringing some sort of relief to me. A girl is always going to need her dad and boy did I really need him right now.

"Wow, my principessa is all grown up, you look beautiful angel" my dad kissed my forehead and I smiled at him.

"Thank you papa"

"Come on honey, it's time" he said as he held out his arm for me to take and I latched my arm onto his.

"Please don't let me fall papa" I said and he chuckled

"I won't angel, I promise" He looked at me with tears brimming in his eyes and I could not cry right now. I took a deep breath and we started walking out.

He led me out and we were soon standing in front of two large wooden doors. The doors opened up revealing everyone and Young and beautiful by Lana Del Ray started playing.

I slowly walked down the aisle with my dad and looked around at everyone. It was just close family and friends of ours. I told Lucca I didn't really want a huge wedding and he was more than happy to agree.

Then I looked ahead at the man I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with. The love of my life. My soon to be husband— looking all handsome in his grey tux and pearl coloured tie that matched my dress. I felt like a true princess.

My eyes began to water, thank goodness I had waterproof mascara on or else I'd look like a total mess right now.

As we got closer to where Lucca was standing, I saw Lucca had silent tears streaming down his face and a wide smile plastered on his gorgeously handsome face.

Soon we reached the top and my dad gave me to Lucca, then he leaned over to Lucca and spoke in a low voice only enough for us to hear.

"Take care of her son"

"I will papa" Lucca said then looked at me as he took my hands in his.

"Right, we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of these two people who found each other and fell in love-" the priest continued to talk until it was time for our vows and Lucca went first.

"From the moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew I had to have you, from the moment your lips first touched mine, I instantly became addicted to your kisses. Sophia— You're my air to breathe and my ray of light, I can't imagine my life without you in it. You are my entire world and you possess my heart. I promise to love and cherish every moment spent with you, to trust and guide you, to be a faithful lover, husband and companion. I promise to always be by your side, to cry and laugh with you and most importantly I promise to love you until death do us part"he said with tears in his eyes and I was crying too.

How did I ever get this lucky in love

"Lucca— I love you so much it hurts. You own my heart and soul and I can't picture a future without you in it, we are like two puzzle pieces that just fits together perfectly. You never gave up on me and I'm thankful you didn't because neither did I. I promise to love and guide you through life, to trust and support you in everything you do, to be a faithful lover, wife and companion, I promise to cry and laugh with you, I promise to love you even when I might feel like I hate you. I promise to stand by you for better or worse, in sickness and in health until death do us part"

After I finished my vows, the priest spoke up again

"Do you Lucca Antonio Del'mario, take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?"

"I do" Lucca smiled

"And do you Sophia Isabelle Walker, take this man to be your lawful wedded husband?"

"I do" I smiled at Lucca

"Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride"

Immediately after the priest said that, Lucca grabbed me by my waist and pulled me in for a long passionate kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck and cheers erupted all around us.

When Lucca pulled back he smiled down at me.

"This is just the beginning of our story baby, I promise to love you now and forever more." he said as we walked off.

Lucca is right. This is only the beginning of a bright future for us. Soon we'll be starting a family, creating new memories with our loved ones and that will be our happily ever after.
