Chapter "5"

Somewhere in New York City, Rebekah is preparing for her flight to Mystic Falls. Her lover Matt called her two days ago about the party that Caroline is preparing for Elena's new job. He asked her to tell her brother Klaus to come along since his girlfriend Care is so busy that she can't call him since she's sucked in the preparing.

Earlier this evening, Care sent him a text.

"Hi baby. I'm so sorry for not calling you the past few days. You know me when I'm into deep party preparing I become so sucked into the preparations. I hope you'll forgive me. Hope that you got the invitation I sent with you with Matt. Hope to see you tonight baby. Miss you so much. Have you forgiven me? See you, Care xoxo 😘".

Klaus laughed at the cute apologizing text his girlfriend sent him.

"What are you so happily spacing about Nick?" asked Rebekah teasingly.

"Oh. Shut up sis", answered Klaus teasingly.

Klaus texted Caroline back.

"Care, love. Miss you more than you'll ever now. Never mind love. All is forgiven the moment I saw your name in my inbox of my cell just now. Love, I know how you always wanna your party preparations become perfectly done. Rebekah and I are now on our way to the airport to catch the 5 o'clock flight back to Mystic Falls. Can't wait to meet you love. Send my greetings and congratulations to the future Mrs. Damon Salvatore and her beau. Hopefully, next party you'll be preparing is our engagement party with wedding of course. See you tonight love xoxo <3 :*"

He then pressed the send button to Caroline's number. He smiled at the idea of meeting his girl after a week from hell in his computer company in New York. He hated parting from his lady but when duty calls, he has to answer it.

He then looked to his baby sis and smiled tenderly at her. He loves Bekkah so much.

"Are we there yet?", asked Klaus tiredly. He really wants to sleep. He can catch a nap in the airplane on his way to Mystic Falls. Then he can go for a nice hot shower at his mansion.

"Yes, we're big bro", answered Rebekah her tired brother.

"Finally, few hours and I'm going to see my Care you're going to see your Mattie. How is he, by the way?", asked Klaus politely.

"Yes, finally. He's fine. He sends his greetings to you. He said he can't wait to see how I'm going to look like. He also said to me to remind you of your unfinished chess match with him", said Rebekah smiling.

She was so happy that her brother gets well along with her boyfriend. He kept nagging her in the past about her choices of her previous boyfriends. But he seemed happily approving her relation with Matt Donovan.

Klaus smiled at his baby sis's words.

"Of course, I didn't forget. I'm sure I'm going to defeat him," said Klaus laughingly.

Klaus liked Matt a lot. He seems like a true gentleman that's worthy of his baby sis. He always looks after her but he knows that Matt will take a good care of her. Now, that he, himself, has a fine young lady that he can proudly point to her saying, she's my future Mrs. Miakelson, he can rest assured that Matt will do just fine with his baby sis.

Finally, both Nicklaus and Rebekah Mikaelson heard the call for their flight back home to Mystic Falls. They got into the plane and settled down. Klaus closed his eyes for a so much needed short nap. His sis put on her headphones and started to listen to Adam Lambert, her favourite singer in 21st century. She lived enough to be lucky to find a good singer like Lambert with amazing melodious voice. Her brother agrees with her about that.
