Chapter "17"

The dinner party has started and as usual Caroline had surpassed herself. It was an amazing family/friendly party. She made sure that her fiancé's guests not feeling strange. She welcomed them into her friends' circle.

"You outdid yourself as excepted Care," said Elena happily.

"Thanks Lena," said Caroline sweetly to her friend. She was happy of the party's success.

"Care-chan, it's outstanding. Thanks for letting us to intrude on your party. We know it is family and friends party but thanks for accepting us," said Yukkie.

"Not at all Yukkie-chan. You know, Klaus' friends are mine and I came to like you all. You aren't intruding. You're now part of my friends and my family's friends' circle. Welcome aboard," said Caroline cheerfully.

"It's our pleasure Care-ssi to be your friends," said Yeo Wool lovingly.

"The pleasure is ours Yeo Wool-ssi," said Klaus joining the conversation walking towards his lady, putting his arm around her shoulder.

"Klaus-kun thanks for having us," said Kaname gently.

"You're more than welcome, Kaname-kun," said Klaus.

"How about we cut the cake now everyone?" asked Jenna sweetly.

"Indeed it's time to dig in. We can't have our guests hungry for long, can we?" said Alaric jokingly.

"Yup, I'm so hungry," said Zero holding his tummy in a funny way which made everyone burst into laughter.

"Me too guys. I'm so hungry," said Stefan.

"Okay, okay. Geez people. What happened to courtesy of waiting till buffet's opening?" said Caroline pouting.

"Oh come on Love. We can't leave all those people who came to our house for a party to leave without getting something to eat," said Klaus kissing Caroline's pout away.

"You can't get mad at us," said Bonnie laughingly.

"You can't deny that we make you laugh with our old dry joking manner," said Kang Chi.

"Forgive us Care-ssi but these people are so hungry that they forgot buffet courtesy," said Wul Ryung wisely.

"Oh appa! You too are hungry but your politeness prevents you from saying a word till the house owner says that the food is ready," said Kang Chi pouting.

"I agree with Kang Chi uncle," said Yeo Wool cutely.

Seeing his baby, family, old friends and new ones around him made him less agitated. This new danger approaching him made him so worried that he forgot how to relax and enjoy some time off.

"Where are you Klaus baby? What are thinking about?" said Caroline lovingly while cutting the big cake and serving their guests.

"Nothing, lLve. I'm thinking how lucky I'm for having you and everyone else to be part of my life. I'm so blessed," said Klaus sweetly.

"Don't sweat. We'll always get your back bro," said Alaric genuinely.

"And no matter what we'll be here whenever you need us. After all this is what friends do for each other," said Kaname.

"I know and I thank you all from my heart. Thank you for being there for me," said Klaus.

"Oh come on, this party needs some music," said Rebekah knowingly.
