Chapter "8"

Caroline was putting the final touches of the party that she was preparing for her best friend Elena's party -at the Mystic Grill- as a congratulating for her new job when a sexy familiar voice came from behind her.

"Hello love", said Klaus to his sexy girlfriend.

"Welcome back babe," said Caroline happily.

"I've missed you this past week," said Klaus in his sexy voice.

"I've missed you more sweetheart. Why didn't you call me so I could pick you up from the airport?," said Care questioningly.

"Because I wanted to surprise my love," said Klaus smiling.

"But I would love to pick you up, you know like in romantic movies," said Care embarrassedly.

"You and your romantic ideas, Care love. How about this for a romantic moment?," asked Klaus sweetly.

He approached her quickly, taking her into his arms kissing her passionately. He missed her so much and God be his witness on that.

"Didn't we agree no hybrid powers babe in public?", said Care breathlessly.

She always feels like that. As if Klaus takes her breath away each time they kiss that she's afraid of dying then Klaus would joke and say that he'd to make her someone like him so she'd never die.

"But love, I've missed you so much that I couldn't help but to hug you tightly quickly. Remind me next time I leave to work to take you with me," said Klaus complaining.

"Yea do that and you'd never achieve your work", said Caroline shyly.

Klaus laughed and laughed and laughed. He knew that Caroline is right about that. If he'd ever take her to any of his business trips, his attention would be focused on his beautiful girlfriend and not work. Valid point.

"And are you finished yet, love?", asked Klaus sweetly.

"Almost done honey but I need to just hang the congratulating banner then we'll be finished", said Caroline explaining.

"Here, let me help you Care", said Klaus reaching out to take the banner from his girl to hang it himself.

"Take care. Don't get yourself hurt", said Caroline seriously.

"Care, love, you know even if I broke a bone it'd heal very fast," said Klaus jokingly.

"Don't... Joke... Like... That... Again... Klaus", said Caroline seriously.

"Okay... Okay love. Chill. I won't do it again", said Klaus trying to cheer up his lover.

Klaus finished hanging the banner. Caroline was so happy that she finally finished her preparations for Elena's party. She was very much satisfied with what she'd done.

"What do you think Klaus-baby? Do you think Elena will love it?", said Caroline cheerfully.

"Yes, of course, she will. You're amazing party planner, love", said Klaus happy that his girlfriend is back to her cheerfulness again.

"Great," said Caroline gleefully.

"Then let's get going. I'm going to take you the Salvatore mansion for getting ready for the party. The other ladies are there with my sis. Then I'll be on my way to my mansion with the gentlemen to have a shower and get ready," explained Klaus.

"Very well my love. Wow, Bekkah is back. I can't wait to see her. I missed her so much," said Caroline in a sweet tone.

"Not as much as we missed you," and with that Klaus took Caroline's face in his hands and kissed his girlfriend strongly showing her how much he really missed her.

And as usual, he smirked leaving his girl seeking for air to breathe. Caroline looked at him faked her anger but then she ended up smiling. He loves to tease her and she seems she doesn't mind this teasing.

Klaus had finally found someone who is worth his life and his love. He swore the moment he finds a girl who really deserves him he won't let her slip his hands no matter what happens.

And he found that in Caroline Forbes. He swore he won't ever let her go and he would give her his name, love and life. He's willing to do anything for her, even to die for her.

And whenever he tells her that, she cries a lot that he ending up taking her into his arms cuddling, saying the he would never leave her and he had to promise he won't get hurt and die leaving her alone. He admitted that being separated from her is death.

So, Caroline had promised her boyfriend Klaus that she would never leave him and that led to Klaus getting on one knee, presenting a beautiful engagement ring asking her to marry him and carry his name.

"Yes, yes. I will. I'll marry you of course, Nick," said Caroline very happily.

"I'm so happy Care," said Klaus gleefully with joyous tears in his eyes.

Every time Klaus remembered those moments, he would smile tenderly.

They got in the car and drove to the Salvatore mansion.
