Chapter "7"

In the Gu Corporation that is located in Seoul, South Korea; sat down to a round big meeting table, the president of the company; Gu Kang Chi, his father Gu Wol Ryung and his fiancée Gu Yeo Wool. They were expecting visitors from the Japanese Cross Academy. Since Kang Chi came to Seoul with his family, he's been very successful businessman of a big computer/cell phone corporation and he would send some of his interns who are humans or *Yokai(s) to study at this Japanese academy. His father is the godfather of his corporation and the head of the international branch of the Gu Corporation. His fiancée is the vice-president and the head of the Japanese branch of the corporation.

"Mr. Gu, your visitors are here," said his secretary.

"Let them in," said Gu Wol Ryung.

"Ohayō-gozaimasu Wol Ryung-sama", said Kuran Kaname.

"Annyeong-haseyo Kaname-sama", said Gu Wol Ryung politely.

The Pure-Blood Vampire and the Gumiho sat down on the first two chairs of the meeting table.

"I believe you've met my son before," said Wol Ryung cheerfully.

"Of course. How are you Kang Chi-sama?", said Kaname respectfully.

"I'm fine Kaname-sama. Hope your flight wasn't very troublesome," said Kang Chi gleefully.

"Not at all, Kang Chi-sama," said Yukkie sweetly.

"And you must be Kaname-sama's fiancée, Kuran Yukkie-sama", said Yeo Wool happily.

"Indeed, and you must be Kang Chi-sama's fiancée Gu Yeo Wool-sama", answered Yukkie.

"And this is my dear friend, Kiryu Zero, our hunter and a teacher at the academy," explained Kaname.

"Nice to meet you, please take care of me," said Zero bowing his head respectfully.

"Nice to meet you too, son. Have a seat," said Wol Ryung wisely.

"I'm sure my father, Cross Kaien, had informed you about the situation in Ireland which is heading to Virginia, USA," said Yukkie briefly.

"Yes, we have talked on the phone the other day, he warned us of this danger," said Kang Chi knowingly.

"It seems it's going to be very troublesome", said Yeo Wool thoughtfully.

"Yes, indeed. A vampire with magical powers. What does he want though? Why Mystic Falls? What's there?," asked Kang Chi.

"A cure for vampirism and lover's unity", said Wol Ryung vaguely.

"A what..? A cure for what...? Is there such a thing?", said Yeo Wool.

"It's one potion. It was made in the past to stop Silas, this witch after he got himself turned into a vampire he turned his beloved as well. But a powerful witch named Qetsiyah made one cure potion for Silas's vampirism believing that since he was too powerful he could cause havoc," said Kaname explaining.

"My father's encounter with a rogue vampire in Dublin led him to this conclusion. This creature is on his way to Mystic Falls where the veil between our world and the spirit's world. He wants to drop it to take the cure and be reunited with his love. But there's a problem, in doing so, all the Yokai(s) that were killed once will be able to roam freely in our world till he gets what he wants," added Yukkie.

"And when will he approach his target?," asked Kang Chi deeply thinking.

"After two weeks or less," said Zero.

"Then we must be prepared quickly to go to USA," said Yeo Wool enthusiastically for fighting.

"Yes, I've prepared everything we need," said Wol Ryung wisely.

"And we're going to use the private jet of The Gu Corporation to go to our destination," said Kang Chi.

They started to prepare for their journey.

"There's an American computer company that we work with, I made some researches about it. It turned out that its head, Nicklaus Miakelson, is a hybrid; half vampire- half werewolf. We just started working with him and his family," said Wol Ryung seriously.

"A hybrid like me? But I'm half human, half Gumiho," said Kang Chi to himself excitedly.

"We need to contact him as soon as we reach there. But alas! We'll have to make a stop during our flight since the destination is too long," said Wol Ryung.

"Where will we stop?," asked Yeo Wool.

"London, England. My father arranged us a stay at the Kuran mansion there. It will be for two days since we're going to need our weapons which we couldn't take with us in our flight to your place," said Yukkie explaining.

"Aha. Okay. It's very exciting. It's been a long time since we took any vacation, right dad?", said Kang Chi excitedly.

"Yes, indeed son," said Wul Ryung thoughtfully.

Gu Wul Ryung had lived a long enough in this world. He had seen a lot and had to adapt to each era he faced. He was thankful to have his son with him. After losing his wife it was difficult but having Kang Chi by his side made it easier for him. And his son's fiancée was killed wrongfully protecting his son. But the Heavens seemed merciful for they sent him back his lover in this modern era. He knew his son was devastated but never showed that up.

Yeo Wool being reborn was Heaven's gift not only for his son but for him as well. This girl was medicine that would heal his son's mental injures about being a hybrid Gumiho. Not all other people that they have met are as open minded as this girl. Even his son's non-human employees had to hide their nature to blend in and live or else they would perish.

But he was worried about this new danger. A vampire with magical powers, he never heard of anything like that. He must be prepared well with his family and guests.
