Marleigh's P.O.V.:

Today was our last practice before the first football game. Every school year, there is one football game on the Friday before the first week of school. I know today's practice is going to be intense for both my team and the football team because no games are being played and we have to put our all into everything we do today.

I got dressed in my cheer life sports bra and hot pink spandex shorts. I pulled my hair into a high ponytail with my hot pink bow to match my outfit for today's practice.

I went downstairs and made myself a quick breakfast to help pump me up for practice today. I needed to kill it and do everything perfectly in order to impress my coach and earn my center spot.

Today we would be getting formations, going over cheers, stunts, the school's fight song for every time a touchdown is scored, and really anything else that we need for a football game.

I grabbed my cheer bag and my phone and left the house to drive to the stadium. I was looking forward to seeing both Austin and Noah today. I just want my junior year to be peaceful and I feel like it finally will be now that Austin is understanding of my friendship with Noah.

After parking my car at the stadium, I hopped out started heading towards the field, but I was startled with arms wrapping around my waist from behind and a kiss being placed on my cheek.

"Good morning, beautiful." Austin's soft voice said into my ear.

"Good morning." I smiled at him as he joined me in walking towards the field.

"Ready for the last practice?" He asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I giggled.

"Catch you later, babe!" He said as he ran off onto the football field and I made my way to my team.

"Love the pink look, sis!" Vanessa said.

"Thanks, I don't even remember where I got this." I said as I looked down at my outfit.

"Well, you look hot!" Shannon teased.

We started our warm ups and ran our laps around the track. I saw Noah along the way and we both smiled and waved at each other.

Halfway through practice, we started working on stunts for the game tomorrow. We were starting off with basket tosses in a line and we wanted to do them as a ripple effect so that each flyer went up on different counts and hit their perks at different times. It would look awesome if we could pull it off.
