Marleigh's P.O.V.:

I would be lying if I said I didn't have a small crush on Noah, but it was never going to go anywhere because I'm with Austin. I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize our relationship, even though Austin clearly has no problem with doing that to me.

Noah and I went back inside, and when I checked my phone in his room, I had like ten missed calls from Austin and several text messages.

Babe💘: Mars, I'm sorry for what I said, please pick up.

Babe💘: Where did you go? Your car is still here.

Babe💘: Are you with him?

Babe💘: Can we please talk?

Babe💘: Marleigh please answer me

Babe💘: I love you

I figured I should call him and talk to him, but he is going to literally kill me if he finds out that I'm at Noah's house. Maybe I should just call Shannon or Vanessa and ask them to bring me my car so I can go home because I don't know what to do.

I pulled my knees to my chest and let my head fall, stressed out about what my next move should be.

"Everything okay?" Noah asked from the other side of his bed.

"Austin has been calling me and texting me like crazy, and I need to call him..." I frowned, "But if he knows I'm here, he's going to freak out."

"So don't tell him you're here." Noah shrugged.

"My car is still at his house, Shannon and Vanessa haven't left so I can't ask them to cover for me... Where else would I go?" I was open to any ideas at this point.

"That's a fair argument..." He said, "I could take you back to the party if you want?"

"Hell no." I clenched my jaw, "I'm just gonna call Shannon."

"Hey babe! Are you okay, girl?!" She answered and I could still hear the loud music so I knew she was still at the party.

"Yeah, I'm fine... Do you think you could bring me my car now? I can't get inside my house so I've been... With a friend... And I really need to go home." I said, awkwardly.

"Of course! Let me find Vanessa and we'll be there right away." I knew I could count on her.

"Thanks girl, you're the best." I said before we hung up.

I looked at Noah and he almost looked disappointed.

"What's going on inside there?" I gently knocked on his head like it was a door.

He laughed softly, "I just had a good time with you is all, it was a lot of fun hanging out."

"I had fun, too." I smiled, "I'm sorry you're always getting stuck in the middle of my relationship drama... It can't be easy, but I'm really happy to have a friend that cares so much about me and knows when I need to get out of a difficult situation."

"That's just the kinda guy I am, I guess." He shrugged.

"Well, you're the best kind." I said, standing up and going to gather my stuff together.

"We definitely have to work on your basketball game, though." He said, making both of us laugh.

"You got me!" I teased.

My phone buzzed, and I saw that it was Shannon saying that she and Vanessa we're leaving to bring my car over to my place.

"Would you mind bringing me to my house? Shannon is on her way there with my keys and car." I asked, gathering my things in my arms.
