Clexa - The Morning After

Chapter 8

Raven ran up behind her and made her jump. "How did you get music?" Clarke asked suspiciously. "Well since i am now a part time mechanic here and have access to all the old tech that the grounders have managed to salvaged, i found some things i thought were junk but turns out they can make music you want to listen to travel far, and as for the music, Jasper had Maya's things and he let us borrow it for a night." Raven responded whilst handing them both a drink.

Upon hearing Maya's name, Clarke looked down at the ground guilty, when Lexa had noticed this, she nodded at raven and left to take Clarke into the main party instead of standing on the side.

Lexa didn't trust the skaikru drink so she had passed it to Clarke after she had finished hers. "What? Is the great commander too scared to try it? Can you not handle it?" Clarke asked before taking it. Once hearing what Clarke had to say, Lexa snatched it out of her hands and chugged it in one go. Immediately regretting this after coughing and spluttering at the burning sensation in her throat.

After she had got over this, she told Clarke "I'm not scared of anything." 

Clarke looked at her impressed before she went to get more drinks, this time Lexa took it but sipped on it instead of taking a massive swig. 

After everyone had cleared, It was just Clarke, Lexa and a couple of others that had decided to stick around just for the drink. Clarke had decided to take up dancing. As she swayed by herself in the middle of everyone, Lexa stared in amusement and confusion on what had made Clarke do all these unreasonable things tonight.

She thought it could do with the 8 drinks that she had. As she watched Clarke more, she wasnt sure whether she was swaying on purpose or if it was the drinks side effects.

She walked over to where she was swayed and put her arms out to hold her up right just in time before Clarke collapsed. Knowing that she should get some rest, Lexa scooped her up, Bridal style and carried her to her room, knowing that she shouldn't be alone tonight.

As she made her way to the elevator, knowing that the workers wouldn't be happy to have been pulled away from the party, or their rooms, she made her way up to her room.

As she got there, she looked down at the girl, realizing she had already fallen asleep. She gently laid her down in her bed and removed her armor, jacket and shoes and pulled the furs over her to keep her warm. 

As she was making her way to the couch to sleep there tonight, Clarke stirred at looked at Lexa before patting the space next to her. "No, here." She quickly demanded. Lexa sighed as she made her way over to the bathroom to changed before returning and Clarke was asleep once again, she still climbed in next to her.

Clarke snuggled up to her and holding onto her before Lexa let out a whisper, "Oh you're so going to regret this in the morning." 

As she stared over at the blonde, she began to feel her eyes droop and gave up before laying her head on top of Clarke's.
