As Clarke pounced on Lexa, she was left defenseless, not expecting this kind of welcome. All that was on Clarkes mind was the drug that she craved so much. Not even recognizing the woman that she had now punched in the jaw and pinned down, making sure she couldn't escape. She grabbed the needle and jabbed it into her forearm once again. Relief overcame her, she was calm.

She then felt another needle that was jammed into her other arm. However this one knocked her out cold.

Octavia extended her forearm out to the commander to help her up and she took it gracefully .

"Wasn't expecting that welcome." Octavia joked, trying to lighten the mood.

"No.. not at all.." Lexa said looking at Clarkes body with a frown.

She then picked Clarke up bridal style and when Octavia suggested that she take her, she immediately shut down the idea. This was her job. They ran through the corridors looking at all the guards they knocked out on their way here with no remorse, their attention was focused on getting Clarke out of this metal coffin. Nothing was stopping them now. They ran to the part of the fence that was out of view and had a big enough gap to climb through, Raven was waiting there and glanced down at the bruised and broken Clarke in Lexas arms but didn't question it.

She then messed around with the wires on her remote and chucked a stick at it to make sure its not still live just waiting to light them up. They then climbed through. Octavia went first, Raven next. Lexa then had to pass Clarke to Octavia and climb through herself.

She then grabbed Clarke and held her close whispering in her ear, "You're safe now, it's ok, I'm here."

Once they had arrived back at TonDC, Clarke was immediately brought to the Medical tent after Lexa had described what had happened. She knew what was wrong but didn't want to admit it. She didn't want it to be true.

She excused herself and went straight to her tent. She just needed to sleep it off. When she woke up Clarke would be safe in her arms and everything would be ok. They would have each other and that would be more than enough for Lexa.

Octavia came bursting into Lexa's tent and woke her up from her nap.

Lexa realised that Clarke wasn't safe in her arms, that it wasn't a dream, she was truly gone.

"What's so important that you must disturb my sleep."

"It's Clarke-"

Lexa didn't need to hear anymore. She leaped out of bed and ran to the medical tent. Forgetting about everything else. As she walked up, she could hear growling and thrashing coming out of it. She entered cautiously not knowing what Clarke she would find.
