*I am going to be writing in 3rd person from now on.*

The journey to Polis was silent, which they were both glad. As the night began to take over, they found a little cave just off to the side of the path they were taking, It was just about big enough for the two of them, as lexa began to make a fire in the middle of the room, Clarke slumped against the wall.

After lexa had made the fire, she went over the the now sleeping girl and sat down next to her, as she observed every inch of her, with her hair glistening in the light, the once blue eyes rested for the night. She eventually felt her eyelids feeling heavy and put them out of their misery for the night.

She awoke suddenly to something kicking her, she grabbed her knife and was ready to take on whatever this unknown threat was. Until she glanced down and the girl who was once at peace in her sleep, now kicking and turning and mumbling in her sleep.

Lexa tried to wake her gently. "Clarke." it didn't work. "Clarke." She shouted. When nothing was working she decided to gently shake her awake. Clarke awoke with a gasp unsure of where she was. When she finally realised where she was. With lexa. She was wave of calm rushed over her body. Her breath was still uneven until lexa spoke up "Hey, hey your okay, im here." Clarke nodded and thanked her.

She then jumped up, pulling at her clothes, tidying them up. As she looked outside, she could see that it was already light, "Its already light so we should be on our way now." Lexa nodded her head in agreement.

As they were walking back to Polis, clarke spoke up, "So... why am i unsafe?"

"It is because of what you did at the mountain. It is because you're wanheda. The commander of death, people wish to kill you to take your power."

Clarke then was silent. The commander of death. She had earned that title by murdering innocents at the mountain, where the commander had left her. By murdering children and the people who helped them get out. She then rememberd pulling the lever and watching on the screen as people formed blisters on their faces. She didnt realise that her breathing had become uneven and that she had stopped walking.

Lexa's voice brought her back to the present. "Clarke? We need to carry on walking if we want to make it there in time for tonight, you wanderd far."

"Oh.. right, yeah." Clarkes voice seemed distant but lexa didnt want to question her on it.

As Clarke saw the candle like tower come into view, her mouth opened wide, amazed at the big tower in front of her. Lexa saw this reaction and smirked.

As they arrived at the gates, the guards bowed their heads in respect and said in unison "Welcome back heda."  Lexa lifed her head up higher to show her authority and her commander mask built back up as she folded her arms behind her back and locked her fingers together.

Clarke stared in awe how she could go from being this conercend sweet girl to this might commander in a matter of seconds.

As they walked through the market, Clarke took in the sight of lexa going through and accepting gifts from everyone of her people. She was in her place, she even had a smile planted on her face as she accepted gifts from adults, children and others.

When they got to the door of the tower a bald man with wrinkles on his forehead came over and bowed his head in respect. "Heda welcome back, I see you have brough wanheda with you." Lexa just gave him a death stare and walked in. Confused, Clarke followed her into the giant candle.
