After Clarke had finished her lunch with Lexa, the day went by pretty quickly, and as night fell, she retreated back to her own room and collapsed into the bed. However, sleep didn't come over her very quickly since her head was still throbbing, not as bad as this morning though. Little did she know sleep wouldn't overcome Lexa either.

As Clarke was trying to count sheep to fall asleep, there was a knock on her door. Before she opened it, she had already guessed as to who was on the other side. "Lexa." She answered.

"Clarke."

"What are you doing up so late?"

"I could ask you the same thing."

Clarke sighed and moved out of the door frame to let Lexa enter. Lexa was the first to speak up, "I had realized that we hadn't much of a chance to continue with your trigedasleng."

"Oh right, sorry about that."

"Well would you liked to continue?"

Clarke let out a simple nod and walked over to the couch, gesturing Lexa to join her.

"So we can start of simple, Ai laik klark kom skai kru en ai laik hir kom help yu. It translates into I am Clarke of the sky people and i am here to help you. Since you're a healer I thought that this could come in use."

Clarke began to write this down in her notepad and repeated what Lexa had said. This went on for a couple of hours before Clarke began to yawn and rub her eyes, trying to stop the sleep from taking over. After she had done it multiple times, Lexa finished off the lesson and started to retreat back to her own room. As Lexa reached the door frame, Clarke spoke up.

"Reshop Heda."

Lexa spun around facing Clarke who stood opposite her, eyes glistening in the candlelight.

"Reshop Ambassador."

Clarke then fell asleep soon after Lexa had left.

Clarke woke up later than usual, the light was taking over the room, she eventually, with much hesitation, woke up and got ready for the day. Guessing that Lexa was training. she made her way over to the fence once again, just to watch Lexa however much Clarke denied it.

As Clarke reached the fence, something was different, there wasn't anybody there watching eventually she saw little heads bobbing up and down and swords clashing with one another.

Nightbloods.

She reached the arena and watched them all taking turns fighting Lexa, one nightblood stood out, she then heard Lexa praising him and managed to learn his name. Aden.

After Lexa had finished sparring them one at a time, she saw Clarke and called her over to watch.

Clarke watched Lexa in awe, she thought she even saw a smile creeping onto her face, but just as quick as it formed, it faded.

Clarke also noticed how one girl from sankru, also known as the Desert clan, was the smallest out of all her peers, however she used that as an advantage to weave in and out of her peers' attacks. Her name was Evelyn.

She couldn't keep her eyes off the children, they were so young yet they were already better than she was.

After an hour, the lesson came to an end and it was still only midday. Lexa made her way over to Clarke not at all worn out from her previous lesson.

"If you would like i could teach you."

"What?"

"I could teach you to fight without your gun, since you depend on it so much it would be nice to learn sword combat or even hand to hand combat in case you lose it or-"

Clarke guessed that she was just rambling on and wouldn't stop unless she intervened.

"I would like that."

"We shall start now then," Lexa walked back to the ring and got one of her guards, Ryder to fight Clarke to assess her technique first.

As they were both handed a sword, Clarke held it in a uncomfortable position where as her opponent made it look so easy.

They started circling each other, he was testing her patience, yet Clarke had yet to learn that and made the first attack, trying to jab him in the legs to get him on the floor.

However, this was a rookie mistake as she was slow in her movements and very obvious. He very easily swiped it away and counter attacked before she could gather herself. Next thing she knew, she was pinned down. She quickly jumped back up.

Since Lexa had not yet said anything, she took it as a sign to carry on. She attacked first once again however this time, he barely blocked it, getting too cocky she decided to carry to carry on and she left her guard down, he quickly saw this and she was once again on the floor.

This went on or a while, Clarke knew Lexa was secretly enjoying this too much. Eventually, she intervened but not before Clarke was put on her ass 10 times.

"That was... something." Lexa stated with clear amusement hidden beneath the words.

Clarke just gave her a death glare and place the sword back and started to walk back to the tower. Lexa had to do a speed walk to keep up with her.

"So we will resume this tomorrow, maybe we will try hand to hand combat instead." Lexa smiled saying these words.

"Of course, but i cant learn trigedasleng tonight since i am worn out from training." Clarke was still a tiny bit annoyed at the girl but she couldn't help but feel happy that she finally had a smile on her face.

With that, Clarke made her way into the tall building and to her room.

She couldn't sleep however tired she was, she felt like she was missing something, something that she had forgotten about.

Shit, Octavia and Raven!

They had come all that way to see her and she hadn't seen them since the unity of the 13 clans that was almost a week ago.

She would have to check on them in the morning since her body was to weak to move.

She sat there imagining what life would be like if the ark hadn't ran out of oxygen, they would have never have known that earth was survivable. She wouldn't have  had to kill all those people, she wouldn't have nightmares about them and see their faces, their children. She wouldn't have met Lexa.

As much as Clarke didn't want to admit it, that one thought mattered the most. She wouldn't have met Lexa. She kept saying it until she eventually drifted off to sleep. Not knowing of the events that would occur the very next day...
