As Clarke made her way over to were the commander was training with her warriors she blended into the crowd that was slowly forming around her as it was rare to see her training with the warriors like this. As she was swinging her sword around, Clarke took this time to memorise her features
However, Clarke was finding it hard to concentrate with her fighting like that and sweat was trickling down her neck and with her pouncing at her opponent every chance she got with her forest green eyes glancing over him, examining him and what his next move was.
It came to good use as well since every time he tried to attack lexa easily dodged his move. Eventually she managed to get him to the floor and she swirled her sword in her hand, pointing it at his neck whilst kicking his own sword to the side. He then put his hands up in defeat.
She helped him up off the floor and they grasped forearms, as Clarke had learnt that this was a sign of respect to the grounders. Lexa then began to glance around at the crowd as they had now thinned out since the fight was over.
She caught sight of Clarke standing there and their eyes locked, blue met green. She immediately began walking over to her.
The fight had been going on for a while as it was now getting dark, however that didn't stop them from going into the market as Clarke hadn't much time to explore since she had spotted lexa.
As they were wandering the streets, Lexa stopped at armour shop and studied the pieces that they were selling. As Clarke joined her, lexa began the conversation, "This would look good on you" she pointed out. Clarke examined the armor lexa held in front of her and nodded in agreement.
It looked almost exactly like the one lexa was wearing now however there were some changes in the design and the colour was a lighter shade. The woman that owned the shop now turned to face them both.
"If you would like it, I can have it made to fit you by tomorrow."
"Mochof" Lexa responded. Clarke looked at her in confusion not knowing what that it meant. Lexa could see this and leant over to her and whispered so only she could hear it "I means thank you in trigedasledge, I will have to teach you one day."
Clarke felt a shiver going down her back at the softness in her voice. But she responded keeping a calm "I would like that."
After the woman had taken her time to fit Clarke they walked back to the tower in comfortable silence. When they had made it to the corridor with the bedrooms, Clarke quickly spoke up before it was too late "If you don't mind, could I have a lesson now?"
Lexa was confused until she realised what she meant. "Of course, follow me." Clarke didn't respond and followed lexa to her chambers.
It was much bigger than her own, however the bed looked exactly the same. As they walked in, lexa and her sat on the small couch. Clarke quickly began to take her notebook out and wrote down everything lexa was saying.
After a couple of hours, Clarke felt her eyelids flutter shut and she lost the battle to sleep.
Lexa carried on talking only to realise that the girl next to her had fallen asleep. Not wanting to wake her, she gently pulled the notebook from her hand and put it down on the table.
She grabbed a fur from her bed and pulled it over Clarke, who stirred a bit but didn't wake. She then pulled off her boots and slipped her jacket off, she also pulled her feet up onto the couch.
After all was done, she stood back and looked at the sleeping girl in awe and of how peaceful she looked sleeping. It was beautiful.
Lexa then began to take off her own armour until she was left in her undergarments, she then got into bed and pulled the sheet over her, since giving all her furs to the sleeping girl. She drifted off to sleep, feeling accomplished.
