She froze, the first though that went through her mind, Who was it? She stepped forward, curious. She flipped the body over. Logan.

His face was filled with fear, those being his last feelings. She recognized that it was Logan, barely. He was all cut up, 1000 cuts if Clarke were to count them. She picked up the knife to examine it, see if she could recognize it. She wiped the blood off onto her hands, then wiped them onto her trousers. She didn't know who's knife it was. This was someone who wanted to frame the grounders.

She then looked up at the door debating whether to flee. Abby appeared then soon enough everyone had gathered. Eyes focused on Clarke, she looked past her mothers hurt and accusing eyes right onto Lexa's who stood there in disbelief, not looking me in the eye, however she didn't have the same accusations that her mother did.

She just stood there with the knife in her hand, dripping with blood until Abby finally spoke up.

"Lock her up." Those words made Clarkes heart sink, they thought she had done this, It made sense, he was always picking on her, so she thought that she would finally put him out of his misery. She could never do this to a person, he was cut more than she could count. It was a grounders kill, she explained all this as she was being dragged away, however her mother believed that she had changed so much that she might have converted to their way of killing.

As she was being dragged away in cuffs which were way too tight, Lexa ran forward but was stopped by the guards, blocking her way towards Clarke. Indra immediately had her sword pointing at all the guards however Lexa ordered her to stand down. She then shouted towards Clarke.

"I will get you out. I promise! Even if its the last thing I do." She whispered the last part so only herself could hear it. She knew Clarke hadn't killed the man and had her suspicions on who had.

Clarke heard Lexa shout out her promise and she knew she would live up to it, all she had to do was survive being locked up and no doubt being beaten by her guards since she had 'murdered' one of their own in cold blood.

She was thrown in the cell hard and the door slammed shut. All I have to do is survive. Clarke repeated over in her head. Her wrists were chained above her head

She was in there for days without any food or water, you could see her ribs, she was all skin and bones now, there was no doubt food being sent to her, however the guards thought she should be killed a slow and horrible death. Her head slumped as she was too weak to even hold herself up. Cuts were all over her body and bruises all over her torso. Luckily, food was delivered to her and she ate it like a dog and slurped her water as if it was her last meal as it could have been.

However, through all this, she still had hope that Lexa would live up to her promise and rescue her from this hell she called home.

The door suddenly swung open and she lifted her head up as well as she could as curiosity got the best of her, her mum- no Abby stood there worried.

She rushed over to Clarke, quickly taking out her medical bag and gauze to make sure her injuries don't get worse.

Clarke couldn't say anything, hell she could barely move, she wanted to shout and scream but, she couldn't. She wanted to kicked and punch but, she couldn't.

She was too weak, too fragile, too beaten, she may as well have been dead. Abby was shouting at the guards and how they could have let her get this bad.

She didn't want to see her. She never wanted to see her ever again, however she couldn't do anything. She just sat there slumped over while her 'mother' tended to her wounds.
