Chapter 19

Pooja and Dev trying to get back to normal life, for a young newly married couple they have seen way too many things in just one year, life has been busy too with work family, friends and everything.
Dev and Pooja tries to keep the spark alive and keeps surprising each other.
It was just the beginning of summer end of May Dev came and told Pooja this weekend they will go to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side,
P:: Dev why ain't we driving to Canada?
D:: that's because you start snoring and I keep driving and it's not fun
P:: what? That's not true!
D:: don't tell me you didn't fall asleep last time when we were driving to Washington to see cherry blossom?
P:: okay I was tired but I didn't snore
D:: I still have the video as a proof
P:: stop it I hate you
D:: but I love u (he hugs her and flashes his bright smile)
P:: I love all the desi food in Canada yummy I can't wait
D:: seriously woman!!! I thought you will say how romantic we will romance in front of Niagara Falls and here you want to have Indian food in Canada
P:: I've seen Niagara Falls million times and i already romanced with you in front of it last time you made me eat in the hotel but this time you will drive me to Mississauga I have some desi friends and they know local restaurants
D:: Pooja noooooooo!!! Baby please don't do this I was planning some romance
P:: baby food is Bae and it's better than sex.
D:: what? You are not serious?
P:: no no no no no no!!!! I didn't mean that I promise
D:: no I don't believe you and from now on don't come to me for anything and don't even touch me and don't even ask me to make love to you, okay? And yes you can stay with your food.
P:: if I stay with my food then what about you?
D:: mmmmm!!! I'll find someone else who thinks sex is better than food or atleast equally good
P:: Devvvv!!!! I'll kill you
Pooja literally jumps on him rocking his world and punishing him for saying he will find someone else, not that Dev mind such punishments rather he loves it.
Pooja and Dev left for Canada for the weekend, they reached there in the afternoon, they had the view of the Fall from their window which was mesmerizing, they had early lunch in the hotel and head out for a walk and as per Dev's plan romance in front of the Fall.... they made sure they took enough pics to send it to Dadi who loves sharing their pics on her social media and she actually calls people that she posted pics and everyone should like them.
After their walk they drove two hours to go to Mississauga where Pooja's friends where waiting and they went to this local Desi restaurant just to have Bheja fry with rumali roti, sheermal and payaa not to forget salted lassi and at the end they had Malai kulfi from a small shop which was amazing. After their dinner they headed back to their hotel, they listened to some nice music, enjoyed the ride.
P:: Dev remember when I was pregnant and I ate so much that you were embarrassed asking for more roti?
(Suddenly she remembered her pregnancy and touched her belly and just became quiet Dev saw her doing that and felt her silence, he knows it still bothers her and it will bother her may be till they actually have a child)
D:: I was never embarrassed I was only worried that the restaurant might loose out some customers as they would be out of roti
P:: How mean!!!!
It was a pleasant drive but Dev was thinking about Pooja. He felt bad thinking that Pooja has been trying so hard to hide her emotions, she doesn't talk about her pregnancy neither she talks about having a baby anymore. This must be very difficult for her to not share those bottled up emotions as she doesn't want to hurt him. He fell in love with her once again thinking about her sacrifice.
It was pretty late by the time they came back and they ate so much that they wanted to sleep, Dev didn't complain about it so the love birds went to sleep and when they woke up they were all excited to go for the boat ride in the Niagara Falls as they love seeing the fall everytime. Dev ordered breakfast in the room because Pooja was taking long time taking shower and Dev couldn't wait.
D:: Pooja how long are you going to take? I'm hungry
P:: bubu start eating I'll be out soon
Dev starts eating his egg and cheese sandwich taking sip of his coffee and Pooja comes out with wet hair wearing his white shirt, Dev's eyes fall on her and he felt is he in heaven as she looked like and angel
P:: sorry I'm wearing your shirt I saw this hanging and I was too lazy to open the suitcase (she gives a big smile)
She starts eating and as she was eating her cream cheese bagel she licked the cream cheese on her lips and that did it for Dev, he was trying to be sober. She devoured the juicy fruits and her sexy bare legs were pretty distracting. Dev didn't want to disturb her while she ate and after she finished eating she was excited to get ready and go out so she decided to put some music on and guess what she played

P:: Dev I'm taking out your shorts now, it's very hot outside
D:: forget about outside it's hot inside (he said it under his breath)
P:: what? You said something?
D:: no no..
Dev walked towards Pooja and spun her around and cupped her face and kissed her passionately their tongues playfully reacted as they met briskly. His hands were resting on her waist and she gently tugged on his soft silky hair. Slowly his hands started working and he started unbuttoning Pooja's shirt meaning his shirt that she was wearing. In between the kiss Pooja asked if he doesn't want to go out and he said not before he devours his wife. Dev lowered himself to pick her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist he intensified the kiss then he sat her down on the bed. She grabbed his face and he curved a smile through the kiss. Dev's invigorating lips left trails of passion all over her neck, she moaned in his ear arching her back to be closer to him. Each second the intensity was growing their breaths were unruly and low their moans and groans collided as one and the boat ride had to wait as ride in the hotel room was more exciting.
Later in the afternoon they took the boat ride and had dinner in a local restaurant.
Pooja and Dev is learning new things everyday they are growing as a couple everyday. After few days Dev thought of going camping with the family. So he planned a camping trip in the middle of summer last year both Pooja and Disha was pregnant and then the accident happened so Dev missed the summer camping so this year he planned it all. He took Cottages for the parents and elders also for Disha as they have Pari but him and his friends will be staying in RVs (caravan) and tents. Then they will go hiking and swimming in the lake barbecue he planned it all and not only that Mark has planned to propose to his girlfriend so he thought it would be nice proposing on some mountain during sunset and everyone can be there.
July 7 th
The road trip was not that long around 5 hours with a break in between. Dev his friends were driving one RV and Raj and Disha was driving the other RV and the Kapoors were with them
Pooja's and Dev's parents were bringing their cars as they know Dev can be crazy and might end up staying longer so they better get their own cars and not get stuck with Dev's crazy plans.
They reached the camping site in Harrisburg Pennsylvania.. they all settled down and the boys parked their RV's on their sites.
They got things ready for the barbecue as they have to do their own cooking and today Dev is in charge and all the boys are helping and girls are resting because it's way too hot. Kapoor Aunty and Dadi has been complaining that their skin is getting burnt and too many bugs.. Pooja is spraying bug repellent on everyone and sunscreen. All the boys were literally in their shorts and no T-shirts as it was almost 100'F and trying to get the fire started to cook food for the ladies. Dev has already marinated everything day before and now he is getting them cooked. All the uncles helped the boys little bit then they sat with their chilled beer so only Raj Dev Jazz and Mark has to do all the work in between Dev romanced his wife and played with Pari too.
Dadi:: Dev I cant even say get a room now, pls go inside ur tent or ur RV.. ganda ladka always getting touchy. No shame at all... look at Mark he is so sankskari who will say he is Gora
Mark:: thank you Dadi, now can you write my name in your will?
Ofcourse they all were having fun, Pooja couldn't take her eyes off her husband as the sweat was dripping his chiseled chest which already got tanned in just two hours and it was glistening. He was wearing peach/pink shorts and Pooja was checking him out top to bottom. Dev has noticed how she was staring at him, she walked up to him  to show that she is checking on the food but she slapped his butt then winked and gave a flying kiss. Dev was shocked how openly his wife was flirting with him and giving signals not only that as he was the chef He wanted Pooja to taste the chicken tikka and he put little piece in her mouth but the way she licked his finger gave him goosebumps. In his head he said he will not spare his wife, it will be a wild night in the woods.
Then the boys started serving food to everyone and our dear Dev served Pooja and whispered in her ears
D:: eat the hot dog now, the meat will be waiting for you in the tent tonight (and winked at her giving her his trademark smirk )
After the lunch they all went for boat ride and chilled in the lake...
Later that night Pooja and Dev put some fairy lights and made a nice ambience for everyone to sit and have corn and s'mores and also prepared everything to surprise Simi as Mark wants to propose.
So everyone sat in front of the bonfire and they put some nice music on.
Dev and Pooja planned a game that each couple has to come in front of everyone and say how much they love each other.
So starting with the Kapoors and usual Kapoor uncle and Aunty had a filmy style confession and uncle sang Ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga
Then Pooja's Mom and Dad which was very classy with some intense eyelock and a peck on the lip
Dev's parents were really sweet and with a big fat hug.
Disha and Raj did a romantic dance and hugged their daughter.
Dadi and Jazz said I love you to everyone. Ofcourse our Dev doesn't miss a chance to romance his wife and him with his cheezy lines and a slurpy kiss at the end which got some hooting from Dadi and the gang..
Kapoor Aunty:: Raj look at them learn something... Keep my daughter in law happy. Disha tell me if he is not listening to u
Disha:: awww mom you are the sweetest
Dev and Pooja announced its Mark and Simi's turn, simi had no clue what was going to happen and ofcourse the family is new to her so she was little shy so Mark started.
Mark:: Hello everyone!! As you all know me and Simi has been dating for quite sometime and I've never felt so complete till now. After my mom left I've been close to this family more than my own so I felt it was only right to say this to you Simi in front of this family who I love from my heart and soul
(Mark on his knees shocking Simi)
Simi all my life I loved Indian culture always wanted to be an Indian and I would like to ask you to marry me so that I can get Indian citizenship (everyone laughs) so tell me Simi would you like to accept this Gora American boy who loves you from his heart and soul. Simi would you marry me?
(Simi was in tears she couldn't believe this) common Simi say yes I accidentally put my knee on a rock!!
Simi:: Yes Mark yes I'm ready to help you get Indian citizenship yes I'm ready to marry you...
That was a very Happy and emotional moment which they celebrated with some good music and champagne 🍾
Everyone retired to their cabins and tents little early as they woke up early and the heat made them all tired. But if you are thinking Dev is tired then you are completely wrong because tonight this man is on fire and Pooja teasing him the whole day was enough to keep the fire burning. Dev slipped the idea of sleeping in the tent tonight as he didn't want to disturb the other campers. So he decided to sleep in the RV but not everything goes according to his plan all the time....
Pooja wanted to see the stars as the sky was so clear and the stars were so clear, Dev couldn't say no to his beautiful wife who was wearing a white crop top and shorts on top of her lime green bikini. As she stood under the open sky looking at the stars Dev went and hugged her from the back. His fingers touching her smooth skin of her skinny belly. He couldn't stop himself but kiss her long slender neck he left trails of kisses and bites his breath was getting low his lust and intensity was growing every second, he turned her around gliding his hand from her neck to her breast to her belly, he checked her out. His eyes had this wild passion which drove Pooja crazy, he slammed his lips on hers kissing her passionately. He couldn't wait to rip off every single piece of cloth between them and fill her core with everything he had. He scooped her off throwing her on his shoulder and walking to the RV and once they were inside the RV he threw her on the bed and before Pooja knew she lost her T-shirt and her bikini. He bit her neck and licked everytime as if trying to heal the bites, Dev wasn't the usual Dev that day ofcourse little more than a year and Dev has found the comfort level with Pooja where he could show his wild side and Pooja was as excited as Dev to explore this other side of them.
Dev said words in her ears that burned her core and the level of her euphoria was high. Such ecstasy of the couple was something that even they have seen for the first time. He touched her in a way that he's never done before, she bit him so hard as he thrusted himself deep inside her as though she wanted to punish him for pleasuring her. The cabin filled with moans and unruly breath, she screamed his name with pleasure, she wanted more and he gave her what she wanted, he gave her a night full of love and lust that they won't regret. When they woke up in the morning Pooja was pretty sore and her whole body was aching may be she had little too much fun last night. She just took a quick shower and got ready. She was feeling very tired and wished she could just sleep whole day and Dev woke up looking happy and all excited about the fishing and hiking he planned. Pooja was brushing her hair and Dev came and hugged her
D:: good morning sunshine
P:: good morning jaanu
Dev pasting his naked self on her back and being all mushy
P:: Dev go get ready stop roaming around naked like this
D:: why what's wrong being naked? I'm naked in front of my wife. By the way why did you take shower without me?
P:: come on babu get ready everyone must be waiting for us to have breakfast.
D:: mmmm okay!! But you know what, last night you were wild.... oh God I don't know if I can handle my wife like this everyday.. you were hot...
P:: don't worry I won't burn you
D:: but I wanna know how it feels to get burnt 🥵
P:: ok now let's go out and get burnt in the sun...
Later that day the boys were fishing even the girls joined and later on they went hiking. Pooja was feeling very tired which is not very normal but it was so hot and hiking is not easy. Some how Dev's level of romance was at its peak and it has been pretty hot and happening for them even that night they are going to stay one more night and return back home. Pooja haven't slept properly last two days and the heat really got to her. The last day they didn't do much they spent their day mostly at the lake side took boat rides played games and later at night sat around the fire listening to music and having hearty conversations. Pooja was so sleepy that she couldn't keep her eyes open. Ofcourse Dadi teased them saying Dev must've kept her awake last two days we can all see.
They all wrapped up everything and the plan is to return home after breakfast. Pooja fell asleep and Dev didn't disturb her as he knows she had rough nights.
In the morning they all had breakfast and got ready to leave.
Dadi:: Pooja are you okay?
P:: Yea dadi im fine
Dadi:: you look flushed....
Nandini:: really Pooja you look pale? Didn't you sleep properly?
P:: I'm fine Maa, I think the heat got me, I'm feeling very dehydrated.
Nandini:: drink a lot of water. Drink some Gatorade that will make you feel better
P:: Yea I'll do that, or may be I'll be getting my period even last time I felt the same way, my hormones have gone crazy.
Nandini and Dadi felt very bad thinking about Pooja they know how badly she wants to get pregnant and exactly a year ago she lost her baby and now her body is not cooperating so they were really worried for her but they didn't want to make it obvious in front of her.
D:: what's wrong peanut? You okay?
P:: Yea I'm fine! I think I'll get my period so feeling weird...
D:: why don't you try and rest when we are driving you will feel better. I think once we go back let's check with your gynecologist and ask what's up with your hormones? And how long you want to try these natural ways it's better have medicine and till you are having medicine we will use protection so you don't conceive while taking such strong doses of medicine. Okay?
Pooja nodded as she looked pale and tired
D:: baby!!! You heard what I said right? You gotta take care of yourself, you can't suffer like this, I hate seeing you go through all this.
P:: bubu don't worry I promise I'll do as you say okay? Now common give me a big fat slurpy kiss coz I missed my wild husband last night.
D:: don't worry when we go home you can have your wild husband as much as you want.
They enjoyed their camping and they came back home in the evening as they stopped in between for site seeing then had lunch and then got stuck in the Verrazano Bridge for almost two hours. All this time Pooja was very quiet even though Jazz, Mark and Simi were being very chatty. Dev noticed his wife wasn't being herself. He could feel that may be she was not feeling well and he was worried that since she started having hormonal issues she has not been feeling well, she's been getting hot flashes, mood swings light headedness, but he also felt bad that she must be suppressing her feelings as she wanted to get pregnant so badly and just because he said that they will not talk about it or think about it that's why Pooja doesn't even discuss about babies. It's not that he doesn't want a baby it's just that not at the cost of their relationship and health. But now he made up his mind that this time they both will go to the doctor and do whatever necessary so that Pooja can atleast feel normal, also deep down when she doesn't get her period she does hope that she is pregnant and then it turns out to be negative and she gets upset. By the time they reached home it was already evening Pooja didn't feel like having dinner she just wanted to sleep and rest. She was very dehydrated and kept drinking water.
It was Friday, Pooja took the day off and didn't want to go to work, she was feeling light headed, Dev had an important meeting so he told her that he will come back as soon as he is done with the meeting, he asked her to make the doctor's appointment and if possible Monday because he wants to come with her and he doesn't have anything important at work. Pooja got up spend some time with Dadi and Maa and she tried reading but nothing felt good.
Dev came back and saw Pooja was sleeping, he found it weird and now seeing her like this he was getting desperate to go to the doctor and get her hormones in control so that she doesn't have to go through this every time and also then they could try for children. Pooja woke up and Dev asked her if she wants to go to her favorite diner and she said she didn't feel like eating there her mouth is feeling weird she feels she can drink gallons of water.
Then they just stayed at home, in the bathroom he saw the pregnancy test kit so he knew that she did think of checking but then gave up the idea coz she knows she will be disappointed. Dev felt guilty that she is stopping herself for him.
It was Saturday morning Dev woke up and saw Pooja still in deep sleep, Dev got up took shower and got himself some coffee, Pooja woke up and as she was getting out of bed she felt light headed Dev had to save her from falling.
D:: Pooja what's wrong baby? Tell me how you feeling. I know I might not understand but atleast tell me how you feeling may be I can help you.
P:: I don't know baby
As Pooja was about to go to the bathroom Dev gavr her something
P:: Dev I can do it
D:: I want you to do it
Dev heard Pooja cry out loud in the bathroom and Dev went running
D:: it's okay baby don't worry there's always a next time. It's okay peanut we will go to the doctor and fix everything.
Pooja couldn't stop crying today and Dev felt worse
D:: it's okay Jaan don't worry, I'm sorry I asked you to check because I felt you are stopping yourself because I asked you to...
P:: Devvvv!!!!!
D:: yes baby!!
P:: Dev I'm pregnant!!
D:: it's okay baby it's okay!!!! (Pause) whaaaaaat? Pregnant!!?? Are you kidding me?
P:: Dev I'm pregnant!!! (She almost screamed)
D:: you are pregnant?
P:: yes Dev yessssss have a look...
Dev looks at the pregnancy stick and sees his wife is pregnant. He can't believe this is true ...
he started screaming out of excitement.
D:: WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!!
