I just realized I don't think I ever properly showed you guys the trailer of this story....
I posted it on YouTube a while ago, before the story was well developed.
Well! Here it is!
Ps: The songs has a big influence on each scene, and there will be an explanation on each scene below the video! I would recommend watching it again even after reading the explanation to see how it all fits better.
Trailer
ExplanationJeongguk's Heaven
The music correlates a lot with their scene. As you could notice, Ten wasn't included in the video. This is purposely done to show how his character really brought Woosung and Jeongguk together to be able to move forward and realize a lot about each other. He's like the bridge between them. In the video we see how Jeongguk is writing and in his own world -demonstrating a sense of innocence and his quiet nature - while Woosung is more so walking around quietly in longing and empty.
This video is just a big metaphor of how they don't really understand each other at first due to their differences, but how that want and longing is there. Woosung wants to keep Jeongguk in that bubble of his innocence, but he also wants to be around him too.
We see Jeongguk then throwing a paper out the window, just as Woosung turns around from looking at it, demonstrating that the connection is both ways, but they are too dismissive to each other to see it.
Moving onto where Jeongguk suddenly rewinds the time, demonstrating the entrance of Ten and how his impact to their lives was like a light.
Jimin's Flames
This is a more short and clean cut explanation. The music rises up the tension gradually, which represents the tension rising up in 2min's relationship in the story. We see them dancing often, which is more of a representation of their relationship.
In the beginning we see Taemin dancing alone, looking for love and the flames in his life. Jimin is more so wandering about his own life, not really having a passion and lonely.
Jimin dancing with a blindfold more so represents how initially he refused to accept that he was gay, yet still danced along to his feelings in denial. We see scenes of Taemin dancing connecting to Jimin's moves, which is him showing Jimin the acceptance of their connection - which explains why towards the end, blind fold is removed and the two make eye contact. Taemin isn't dancing in a blind fold, which signifies how he has already accepted his attraction for Jimin, wanting the other man to notice it as well.
Taehyung's Dream
So for this video, it's more focused on the future and the worries. We see Minho seeming to already have his life together, going on meetings and be all business clean cut kind of thing. Meanwhile Taehyung is in this area where he is alone, looking around almost desperately and longingly.
This shows more of Taehyung's concern during the time of the whole college issue. This is a representation of Taehyung's eyes of Minho already moving on with his life while Taehyung remains reminiscing those moments they had together.
Towards the end we see Minho abruptly startle and that's Taehyung's realization just as he was about to give up that Minho will always come back to him and his system.
