It's late at night, I can hear the music pounding it's life. Rattling my brain, making me want to snarl and shake something. This won't work, I'm being swamped by too many memories. The nights I'd be forced to entertain the MC, whore myself out for something trivial. The nights I'd be handcuffed to a pole and told to entertain. They'd get me outfits to dance in, if I didn't do good enough it became a game of shooting the damn floor under me.

My heart stutters hearing the male laughter, I start playing my knife. Using that as a distraction. I hear a pounding on the door making me draw my lip up in annoyance, I'm not going to be able to play nice. Standing I walk stiffly to the door, unlocking it and pulling it open. I'm greeted with Cobra, and I wince. Yeah I think it's time I stop being a bitch to the man and apologize to him. Turning I leave the door open needing to get away from the door. The prying eyes. "I haven't seen you eat anything all day."

Cobra steps in making me shrug as he shuts the door and I drop into the chair Gears had placed in the corner of the room. "I had a banana this morning." He raises an eyebrow gaining a slight grin.

"That's not really food. I saw how much you ate at your house, you can't tell me you aren't hungry." I shrug watching him as he sits down on the table. I continue to play with the knife as I flinch hearing the feminine pained moaned. I know bikers can get rough when they are railing a sweet butt. Too many memories flash before my eyes, I force air out of my lungs.

"I didn't say I wasn't hungry. I just don't care to be eating things that are processed." Cobra stops looking at his hands for a moment.

"Listen I have to say I'm sorry-" I cut him off raising my hand shaking my head.

"No, I was a bitch on both occasions. I'm out of my element and needed to take it out on someone. It wasn't right for me to jump your shit. I'm sorry for that, I had no right." He looks up with a grin on his face.

"I thought it was pretty hot, I like the attitude." I shake my head looking at my lap with a slight smile. "I do need to say I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted the way I did this morning. I didn't take into consideration what you've seen and been through. I've been lucky to have my parents. The guys explained some things about your past." Holding my breath I look up at him before nodding. I'm not surprised, that's probably what started their trip out to my place.

"It was in the cards." I shrug and he stares at me, raising an eyebrow. I can't help but feel my respect for the man grow. His looks unnerve me, his handsome face making me want to punch him - or maybe kiss him. I can't decide at this rate, and that irks me to no end.

"They were shitty cards." He snorts at me, finally making me raise an eyebrow and let out a soft chuckle. Yeah you don't gotta remind me of that one.

"Yeah they were." We enter a staring contest before a woman belts out a squeal to the high heavens. I don't have to put too much thought into what's going on with that one.

"Why don't we get outta here?" I turn my attention back to Cobra tilting my head at him. Go where? He chuckles with a grin, looking towards the door as the song changes, a brief pause for another type of music to shine through.

"To do what?" Cobra lets out a throaty laugh throwing his head back in bliss.

"To go get some food, I'm sure we can find a place that sells something for you to chow down." Before I can answer the loud atmosphere answers me, making me shrug. Why the hell not?

"Sure, it's not like camping out here is entertaining." He chuckles standing and raising his arms in a stretch.

"Well then let's go find some grub." I nod standing up, letting the blade slip from my hand and to the table. Not willing to leave without some kind of protection, I pick up my pistol from under the pillow. Automatically checking the clip and chamber before the safety, I slide the cold weapon into the small of my back. "Do you really need that?" I look over at Cobra.
