It's been three weeks, and we don't have a single lead on where Gray is. I don't understand how someone can literally just become a ghost, especially today. Everything can be tracked. Internet connection, debit card swipes, security cameras, you are always leaving a trace of yourself, but there is nothing when it comes to Gray. I even looked back at the security system Rylie had installed for the day she received the letter. He isn't anywhere on it. We found out he persuaded some kid to give it to the mail guy with a stack of hundreds, and a sticky note with her address.

Over the last three weeks, I have gotten more and more information out of Rylie about Gray. It's so hard to sit back and just listen when she talks about the things she has been through. I keep myself collected in front of her, but the more I learn about Gray, the more terrifying this man becomes. I'm currently looking over my notes from the talks I have had with Rylie as I add to my evaluation of him. So far, I would classify him as a Tyrannical Psychopath. He is absolutely narcissistic, and highly intelligent with an estimated IQ around 140. He is able to quickly observe and learn how to mimic social behaviors and reactions, that he doesn't feel himself, in order to get what he wants. He is calculating and precise in what he does.

Typically these traits are found in serial killers. As of now, we have no reason to believe he has hurt or killed anyone, aside from Rylie. He has an obsessive need for her. Usually we see behavior like this in someone who finds several victims that all have common traits. But in the case of Gray, 'almost' isn't enough. Rylie is his only target.

Rylie said that Gray was loving and so sweet before they were married, and that she had no idea of the monster that lurked beneath the surface. That is exactly what makes him so much more dangerous. He can walk down the street, and behave like a normal person, and never draw attention to himself.

Rylie made the comment several weeks ago, that if Gray finds her, it will be to end her. At the time I wasn't sure what to really think about that. But now, I know that it's true. Not only will he be so mad that she ran, that he could possibly kill her out of rage, but we are keeping his 'possession' from him. That is exactly how he sees Rylie. She is his, and if he can't have her, no one will.

I finished my notes, and closed my laptop. I looked down at Rylie who was laying next to me in the bed. Over the last few weeks, we had become closer. She had opened up to me more and more. I'm amazed that she is even comfortable around men. Some of the reactions and things that she does, show obvious signs of PTSD and a history of abuse, but she is also defying so many of the statistics.

I brushed her hair back off of her cheek as I thought about her determination. We have been going to the station several times a week. We choose the days and times at random so there is no routine for Gray to notice. We have taught her many new ways to escape a pin or a hold. She has been doing strength training and we even got in the ring the last few times, and she has been starting to dodge and hit. I can see the difference in her body. She was always a woman with an incredible figure, but now she was starting to build muscle and really get some definition.

I can't even begin to describe the feeling I get when I look at her. Not only is she the strongest woman I have ever seen in my life, but she has a hold on my heart. We are playful together and teasing. She will curl up with me on the couch, or in bed, and on occasion, when it's just us, I will get a slow kiss. It never goes any further than that, and we haven't discussed anything between us. I'm happy with what we have, and I will take anything she is willing to give. We are both just kind of waiting out this situation.

I slide down the bed slowly so as to not wake her. As soon as she feels me shift, she moves in closer and lays her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her and close my eyes.
