I have no idea how time passed so quickly, but it was Christmas already. Seth and I went crazy decorating the houses, and we had Austin and Nick up the roof hanging lights too. Seth decided he wanted red and gold for their house, and I wanted silver and blue. I even put a little tree in our room.
I was out shopping with Lori all morning. It was Christmas Eve, and we were all doing dinner at Seth and Austin's tonight, then our house tomorrow night for Christmas. We went out and got a few last minute gifts, wrapping paper, and then we went to the grocery store. The boys were supposed to be out looking for Christmas sweaters. They all wanted to just wear jeans and a t-shirt until Seth and I informed them of proper attire for Christmas. I always wore a sweater dress, and Seth always wore a Christmas sweater. Because they love us, they reluctantly agreed.
Lori and I were driving back home when I sent Nick a text to see how they were doing.
Rylie: How is shopping going?
Nick: We're done. It went well.
Rylie: I thought you were going to send me pictures of the sweaters you liked?
Nick: I was going to, but then I found the perfect one!

"Oh my word..." I said as I saw the picture that came through.
"What?" Lori asked, looking over at me.
I smiled as I shook my head, and showed her the picture. She started laughing.
"Honestly, that doesn't surprise me." She said smiling.
Rylie: Not exactly what I had in mind...
Nick: I know. It's just for tonight I got a nice one for tomorrow. ;)
Rylie: Oh good! I found a little red bow tie for Sam, and a red bow clip for Lulu's hair, so they will be dressed up too!
Nick: Poor dogs. Will you be home soon?
Rylie: Yeah, just around the corner.

We pulled up to Austin and Seth's house and all the guys came out to help us with the bags. As they walked out of the house, we noticed that they all had ridiculous sweaters on. Jay was wearing a sweater that said, 'Police Navidad', Seth's said, 'I put out for Santa', and Austin's simply said, 'Santa' to match Seth.
I opened the door and just shook my head as I laughed. "I never should have trusted you guys." I said.
"Oh, don't worry, we got you guys sweaters too!" Nick said with a wink.
"You didn't..." I said with a hard look.
"It's tradition, baby!" Nick said as he hugged me super tight. He released me, and pulled a burgundy sweater out of a bag that said, 'LIT AF' with a Christmas tree on it. "Come on, put it on!" He said with a smile.
