Our Christmas party was tonight. Rylie's dress was delivered a few days ago. I guess it was ok, because she didn't order anything else. Seth also made her promise not to show me until tonight.
I was laying across the bed just looking at the ceiling, waiting for Rylie to shower. She had been in there for like twenty minutes... I have no idea what she is doing. I pushed myself up and walked over to the bedroom door where my suit was hanging. I pulled it out of the garment bag and made sure it was wrinkle free.
"Hey Nick?" I heard Rylie say. I didn't even realize the water had shut off.
"Yeah?"
"Can You toss me something to wear?" She said shyly.
"Yeah, hang on." I said as I went to the dresser and pulled out one of my t-shirts, and tossed it to her.
"Really?" she asked looking at it.
"Yup." I said with a smirk. She closed the door and came back out a minute later wearing my 'no pants are the best pants' t-shirt.
"You're such a guy." she said as she brushed out her wet hair. I was far too distracted by her bare legs to reply with anything. Let alone be sassy.
"Hey," she said, putting her finger under my chin. "I said, the shower is open. You better jump in."
"Oh, yeah..." I said grabbing a clean pair of briefs and walking into the bathroom. I closed the door and walked to the sink turning the water on warm. I pulled out my razor and cleaned up the edges of my beard. I quickly showered, and went back into the bedroom. "I'll put my suit in the other room. That way you can have this room to yourself to get ready. I said as I took my suit off the door and walked down the hall. Seth and Austin's room was open, and I hung my suit on that door.
About thirty minutes before we had to leave, Austin and I got dressed, and we were waiting in the kitchen. I was in a black suit with a black shirt, and no tie, leaving the first two buttons undone.
