§Morgana Acampora§
§Four days later§

My eyes were on my feet which look swollen; this day hasn't been a great one but the body pillow is helping a lot. The window of my bedroom isn't open since the sky doesn't look well at all; it's been like this for two days straight which is okay, I enjoy rainy weather.

"Amore," Eros walked into my bedroom with a bed tray in his hands. "I brought you lunch since I have to go run some errands."

"Is that coded vocabulary for 'I'm gonna go kill someone'?" My right eyebrow arched as he placed down the bamboo tray over my lap.

He shook his head with a smile "No, I have to mail my cousin's birthday present—"

"Wait, I thought you were going to the party."

"Well, I don't want to leave you here alone, amore," he told, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I'll be fine, Eros," my right hand fell on his'. "There's food and water which is all I need to survive," a soft chuckle left my mouth.

Eros lay down beside me "I'm not going anywhere," from the bowl fruit on the tray, he picked a raspberry and threw it in his mouth.

A scoff left my mouth "Then I am," I gripped the edges of the tray and placed it over his lap. In silence, my feet took me to his bedroom from where I retrieved a suitcase before going back to my bedroom.

"What are you doing, amore?" He raised an eyebrow, turning on the TV.

"Packing," I opened my closet doors.

"For where?"

"For wherever your cousin lives," I replied, zipping open the suitcase and pushing it down to the floor.

The man chuckled "No you're not—"

"Eros, you're not missing out on a family event because of me," I turned around, folding a pair of black jeans.

He got up on his feet and crossed his arms, looking down at me "It might be cold in Sicily so pack your blanket."

A big smile formed on my lips "I convinced you?"

"Yes," he chuckled softly. "We leave tomorrow at 5:30 am."

"Perfect!" I threw the pair of jeans into the suitcase.

§Eros Iacovone§

I've been awake for two hours because I wanted to exercise before making Morgana some snacks for the plane ride; yes, I have a plane at my disposition since sometimes jobs come out of nowhere. It's not mine exactly but the people who own it told me to use it whenever I need to.

"Fuck!" I heard from upstairs.

My eyes went wide "Morgana!" I rushed upstairs with my heart belaboring in my chest. "Morgana! What happened?" I entered her bedroom with wide eyes.

The girl was standing by the window with one black boot on and the other one in her right hand "I was trying to kill a spider but it got away."
