§Morgana Acampora§
"The food was delicious, Eros, thank you," I smiled putting down my glass.
"I think the company made it taste so much better," he winked before taking a sip of his drink. "We should go watch—" his phone rang and he immediately picked up. "Yes? Oh, ciao Dante," Eros poured more wind into his glass as he listened to my father. "Sì, sta dormendo." The man across from me nodded "Va bene, le farò sapere. Rimanga sicuro, ciao," Eros hung up.
"What is it?" I straightened on my seat feeling nervous.
"They're staying at a hotel because the roads have been closed due to the blizzard," he half-smiled "they won't be back until tomorrow."
"Plenty of time to bring down the world."
"I was thinking a movie maybe."
"Will a cuddle be appropriate enough for you?"
He leaned back on the chair with a grin "Sì, amore."
"Why do you call me that?" I stood up.
Eros chuckled "When I met you it was the only thing you knew how to say in Italian, you called me that all the time and asked me to call you that."
A blush rushed up my body "Woah, I wasn't appropriate even back then."
"It was cute. I suppose now you're fluent in Italian."
I shook my head "My parents never wanted me to learn; you know because my dad does all his business in Italian and I'm not supposed to know anything about it."
His right eyebrow arched "You don't know anything?"
"Just some phrases and how to present myself," I shrugged making my way to the stairs. "I'll be in your room picking a movie."
"Are you going to leave me to clean by myself?" He asked we I walked up the steps.
"You're a big boy!" I shouted stepping onto the white carpet placed down the middle of the hallway to elongate it.
"Morgana!"
"YES DADDY, SCREAM MY NAME!" I chuckled before closing the door of his bedroom.
"You're unbelievable!" He shouted but this time I ignored him; instead, I turned on the TV while lying on my stomach looking at the screen as I searched for something to watch. Maybe a cartoon would be nice; haven't seen one of those in a while.
Times in the quiet like this is where I most miss Zeus and his tiny body pressed against my right thigh or on my back. He loved sleeping on top of me because I was his momma bear...his momma bear who left him with the wicked witch of the East.
Anyway, I chose a Pixar cartoon called Onward which is about elf brothers. Little boy Tom Holland and big man Chris Pratt are the voices so I'll for sure laugh. Can someone explain to me why are the girls of the world crushing on Tom?! He is a little baby.
"You'll wash the dinner dish—we are watching a cartoon?"
I looked at him over my shoulder nodding "Yup, you don't like cartoons?"
"I do, my favorite is Tangled," he said and I immediately gasped.
"Are you serious?! Mine too!" It took me a second but I was finally sitting beside him. "The song when they're in the gondola is beautiful."
He chuckled handing me a glass with something yellow and bubbly in it "I brought you ginger ale and popcorn," he placed a big glass bowl between us.
