§Morgana Acampora§

"What the hell is going on?" Nina quickly came to stand beside me. "Who are you?"

Eros had a satisfied smile on his lips as he removed the cigar from his lips "I'm Eros Iacovone, an old family friend of the Acamporas."

"And he was just leaving," I pushed him towards the door.

"Amore, I just want to talk," he chuckled and tensed his body, making it impossible for me to keep on pushing him.

A deep sigh left my mouth, he had a glass of whiskey in his left hand which I took "Give us five minutes, guys."

Everyone left the room as I chugged down the liquor "What do you want, Eros?"

The man locked the door of the bedroom "I just wanted to tell you that you look beautiful," he seemed genuine.

A scoff left my mouth "Now, do you prefer if I turn around to make your escape less awkward?"

His right eyebrow arched "Excuse me?"

My jaw clenched "You left without an explanation, Eros."

"Ohhh," he walked towards the bed and sat on the edge "that, yes, I told you there was a job waiting for me."

"A simple goodbye would've been eno–"

"Do you say goodbye to all your casual fucks?" he looked at me with a patronizing gaze.

My arms crossed "You didn't even fuck me."

His grin let me see his perfect teeth. "You look absolutely gorgeous when you're angry, like a goddess."

I rolled my eyes "Could you be less cliché so I don't get so easily bored?"

"She's stunning and funny," Eros chuckled.

I arched my right eyebrow, trying to keep the smile away because his stupid and generic compliments were working "I don't remember inviting you to my wedding."

"Why would you? This has been planned for you, you're just showing up," he glanced at his wristwatch.

My feet took me closer to him "If you have somewhere more important to be, you now have my blessing to leave, I'll ask security to see you out," a big bitter smile played on my lips.

"Come on, amore, the party hasn't even started yet," he got up on his feet, towering me. "Do try not to break anything," he told, caressing my right cheek with his knuckles, which I allowed. "This place is owned by powerful people."

"Who?" My eyes were drawn to his lips as his hand traveled down to my neck.

He softly chuckled "The same people who own your daddy; the ones who could make your family's fortune evaporate within minutes."

"Sounds like fun," I smirked, "maybe without a dime they will realize all they have is me. I'll make sure to break a vase or t–" he pulled me close by the throat, getting a gasp out of me.

"You don't fuck with the DiStefanos, amore," he glanced at my lips.

I licked my lips, on purpose, before pushing him away; he fell onto the bed but not without dragging me along "Stop it, Eros, I don't want you ruining my makeup," our faces were an inch apart.

Suddenly, he flipped us over so he was on top "Maybe that's what I want," his lips grazed mine. "To make a mess out of you..." our eyes locked.

My heart was thumping against my chest as my temperature quickly spiked through the roof "Is that why you came here? To collect what you forgot?"
