The New Kid In Town

( the new kid is technically me aka Amir but I like the name Jordan so that's my characters name :D )

Hayleys POV: I was walking to school and saw this kid come from nowhere and look at me, he stared as if he had just seen a ghost

Hayley: Hi, whats your name?

????: Jordan

Hayley: Hi Jordan, what school do you go to?

Jordan: Los Angeles Academy Middle School...

Hayley: me too! We can be friends? Yes, no, maybe so?

Jordan chuckled and I felt good about it cause he seemed really shy so it made me feel good that I could make him laugh

We walked together and didn't really say much, he was in his own world listening to TLC and 2Pac so I picked up that he liked 1990's related things and whenever I mentioned siblings he got really quiet and shy, then we got to school.

( IN SCHOOL )

Teacher: The bell doesn't dismiss you!!! I do!!!

Jacob: I don't care what you say, the bell dismisses me and I'll leave when I please.

I liked his confidence but then the teacher grabbed him up and the whole school got super defensive and tried to pull her off him but he slapped her and started kicking her and she screamed a random name and he stomped her head and ran off, I chased him and found him in the bathroom stall crying

Hayley: Whats wrong?

Jacob ( through tears ): nothing!!

Hayley: you wouldn't be crying if nothing was wrong, so tell me

Jacob: the name she said...that's my siblings name

Hayley: so why did it make you sad?

Jacob: they died before I was born...

Hayley: Oh m-...

I put one arm around him and he fell out of the stall and broke down in front of me, after talking to him so long I realized why he was so quiet, he had a lot of troubles bottled up in him and he said it helped to have someone like me to talk to and that he locked his eyes on me cause he felt a huge positive energy from me and he only walked with me cause he trusted me from the get go, I want this kid to stick around and I think he feels the same way.

I introduced him to my family and we had dinner together and he told us that he didn't have a bad family and that it was a great family and they all treated him great and he loved them and they loved him back and weren't abusive and that he just wasn't that much of a people person, I could tell mom felt good after dinner cause she knew she wasn't letting him walk into an abusive home and get beaten on, we slept peacefully that night especially me and Alyssa cause we had a connection to him and he had one to us, Let's see what tomorrow brings.
