(I'm going to finish this Alex story and then that's the end with this one shot book. I have other ideas for book but I don't want to start them until I've finished this one so I'm sorry if you're not reading the Alex ones but that's all I'm going to be doing until the story is finished)

During our time away Alex has been writing letter to say how much he misses all of us and that he can't wait for our return.

We send them back with little drawings of things we have done, some done by me but most of them from the children.

"We're leaving tomorrow morning everyone so please be ready. After supper I'll help you all pack your bags" I smile at my children who were outside playing by the pond

"Okay ma!" They shout back

The following morning we grab the bags and load them into the carriage with us. We wave goodbye to Mr Schuyler who let us stay with him and his daughters for the summer, but now it's time to get back to my house with my husband who I've missed dearly.

I can't wait, to be able to see him again and to kiss him and hug him. I've missed those small things when he's not been here.

We arrive back home, the Schuylers wanted to go in town so they got dropped off there but I wanted to get back home.

"Alexander we're home!" I yell making sure everyone gets in and that we haven't left anything outside

Alex runs down the staircase and pulls us all into a big hug.

He seems off, but at least this Alex seemed to have missed us

"How was everything?" He asks taking a few bags

"It was amazing, you would have loved it there. Did you get everything you needed done?" I ask

"Uh yeah, I still have the odd essays I need to write but for the most part I'm all caught up" he smiles taking the bags upstairs.

"I'll help unpack and then I'll start to cook some food, we're all starving" I giggle as I oook over to my kids all layer out in the chairs about to fall asleep.

"Oh don't worry about the bags I'll do them" Alex shouts from up the stairs

"If you say so!"

One day I heard a knock on the door so I went and answered it. To my surprise it was Thomas Jefferson, James Maddison and Aaron Burr

"Good evening" I say opening the door some more

"Good evening mrs Hamilton. Do you kids if we come in and speak to your husband for a moment?" Jefferson  asks

Alex will probably hate me for letting his enemy in to the house but I can't stop them.

"Uh sure. He's in his office upstairs to the left" I smile welcoming them in

I wonder what they want?
