Just a word or warning, I'm from England so spellings and saying aren't going to be American, and I'm not expert in history meaning that information us...
We live in a world where you and your soulmate have the same shape drawn on their neck below their ear. You find out when you're 16 I'm now 19, and still haven't found mine. I have a small planet for mine, I think it's kinda cute, and if I didn't have one already I probably would have gotten it somewhere else.

They have a meaning. And so far I thunk it's either that in the solar system they are like connect or brought together which could mean teamwork, but also adventure, we haven't explored hardly any of the world let alone the universe so this mean we both could love adventure. In which I do.
Anyways, I'm currently on my way to my job at the local bar. I like it because when people get drunk they can be pretty funny but at the same time you get the loud obnoxious people. I meet loads of people too though so it's a good way of trying to find my soulmate, but no luck so far.
After the first hour passes a group of young men around my age maybe slightly older walk in, laughing and smiling. I can't help but smile when I see a freckled face, brown curly haired boy in the group. I've only seen him for a second but I feel attracted to him. I mean look at him!
"Hey, my name's (y/n) welcome to The Ships Block (made that up). Just give me a shout if you want anything" I smile then walk away to clean down a table. As I walk away I hear them talking.
"Damn she's hot" one of them says
"Yeah she is!" Another one replies
"Guys, that's not how you should treat a girl" one says timidly.
"Oh lighten up John. Here let's get a drink"
"Excuse me (y/n)?" One shouts over.
"Hmm. Yeah what can I get you guys" I smile
"Four shots of vodka please" one says in a french accent
"Okay, anything else?" I ask tucking my hair behind my ear. As I do that all of their eyes widen then look at the freckled boy.
"Uh no that should be good for now, you know going slow" the big darker skinned man says
"Okay then, I'll be two seconds"
John's POV
"Do you see her tattoo?" Alex asks as soon as she is behind the bar
I nod my head
"You know what this mean right mon ami" Lafayette winks
"You've found your soulmate!" Hercules shouts a bit too loud as everyone in the bar then looks at us.
