Big problem for Riya

After winning the quarter-finals in Kolkata, Riya got qualified for semi-finals in Lucknow which is closer to her village. 

Miss Isabelle was so happy to see Riya's performance and was waiting for this semi-finals match as this win will make her go very close to India U-19 selection.

A night before the match, Miss Isabelle went to Riya and said that she will always be with her and support her whatever the outcome happens tomorrow. She saw Riya getting so tensed and to make her comfortable she said this to her. Riya felt a little eased and went for sleep.

Riya was sleeping for a long time during the match day morning. Someone came closer to her ear and said "wake up the champion, wake up. Your race has started". Riya woke with a joy 
realizing the voice of the person and she was so happy to see her. Yes, it was her best friend Maria.

Maria came to cheer her up for this match and see her friend getting closer to the Victory. Also, Maria wants to ensure her mentality as Riya had many tough days recently. Maria thought if she is there it would be of some boost for Riya.

Both of them then went to have breakfast together and they spent very good quality time. After having breakfast Maria took Riya to the ground for the last practice session before the match. Riya did very well.

After some time Miss Isabelle took Riya and Maria to the KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow. Little do they know that they will face a big problem.

Also, this match was special for Riya because it was decided by the Indian sports committee that semi-finals and finals will be telecasted on Television. If Riya wins this will add fame and support to her. So Riya badly wants to win this match now.

But Riya was having a very tougher time in the stadium. Panchayat leader brought some paid women from the village to protest against Riya for simply creating a riot situation in the village by provoking the girls in the village. Women were throwing stones and bottles on Riya and called her attention seeker and money minded. They were continuously creating voices against Riya and Riya wasn't even able to get inside the stadium. Panchayat leader demanded the authorities that Riya should be eliminated from the match.

The crowd was huge as this was an important match. One sector of the crowd standing outside created this fuss and others inside the stadium didn't even understand what is happening outside. Riya was in a complete shock. She was totally disappointed and was really feeling so bad.

Riya told Miss Isabelle that we can go back as she didn't want Miss Isabelle also to get humiliated. Maria couldn't tolerate all this. Also, authorities thought to agree with the panchayat leader to avoid a protest in the match as they had no other way.

Maria pushed the panchayat leader and went straight forward to the sports commentator inside the stadium. She addressed the crowd and said, " Don't you feel odd when a small girl is being targeted by the panchayat leader and mobs. Don't you think they had some problems with her? Don't you think they are afraid of her? Don't you think they don't want her to win? Don't you think they have false allegations against her? Don't you think there has been a past between them? Don't you think that she is standing for something big like Malala did? Don't you think that she has faced huge difficulties as she is from a small background? Don't you think a girl child is being stopped? Don't you think that she is standing for a social cause yes, she stands for education and equality for women? If you don't think and act now then it will be a very sad moment in the history of women in the villages. "

" Malala got attacked but her motto didn't lose because when one sector stood against her the other was with her. History needs to get repeated for making history. Now it is the time to repeat. Hope everyone is smart enough to make a decision. "

After Maria spoke, the people inside the stadium supported for Riya. Now the panchayat leader has to compromise. Still, the problem didn't get over as panchayat leader and their people also entered the stadium inside along with Riya and Miss Isabelle.

Panchayat leader plotted again something against Riya as he didn't succeed previously. This time he thought to play a mind game. He told all his people to boo against her as this will definitely create a disturbance and distraction for her and which can make Riya lose the match.

The match started and Riya after a huge fuss somehow decided to give her the best. As told by Panchayat leader, Riya was booed by her own people which affected her mentally and was losing her concentration. She didn't even start the race for a few minutes. But other people were clapping so loud for her too. Even though they clapped she felt bad because she was thinking about how her own people can do this to her.

Maria went to her and said that the greatest tennis legend Serena Williams was mostly booed at many times by the crowd even in the finale due to the racial discrimination but Serena didn't give up. She went on to prove the crowd wrong and that's why she is a legend today. Riya got motivated and started her race. She was lucky as the race had four lapses. She was behind in only one lapse which she coped in the other lapse and made it into the final.

Maria, Riya, and Miss Isabelle were so happy and the crowd who supported Riya was so happy too. But panchayat leader felt so ashamed and couldn't take this. His face showed it clearly. He was thinking of taking revenge the next time as soon as possible.

What a race it was for Riya! A tougher challenge but Maria made it easy for her.

No one can exactly change the problem of the other but giving a voice out really does make a difference as Maria did.

So gear up for the finals. Will Riya achieve a height after so many falls? Or she will face some other problems?
