Chapter 6

Earth 2

"Morning Sunshine!" Gil proclaimed as he walked through the front door of Janet and Toni's house. Janet was dropping the kids off at school and Toni was cleaning up the breakfast dishes.

"Hey Gil."

"Honey you are looking delightful this morning in that yellow." Toni had on a yellow jumpsuit with wide leg bottoms and a form fitting top. "I may have to borrow that. It's sexy."

"Thanks Gil, it was in the closet ad it called out to me."

"I know you heard our conversation last night. I happened to turn around and saw the back of your shirt. What are your thoughts?"

"Shit. I thought neither of you saw me. I mean...umm...I know Janet is a freak and sex is how she relieves her frustrations especially the Janet on my earth. She can't get enough of it. I guess all the Janets are the same."

"For the most part they are. I've only meet two others that weren't freaky. The others I met were definitely the Janet we both know. But how do you feel about what she said?"

"I don't know. I've never had sex with a woman and I wouldn't know what to do. I feel the attraction and I almost want to give in but something keeps holding me back."

"I don't want to push you into anything you're not ready for nor do I want to make the decision for you. Just think about it. I can feel the tension between you two and I know the kids feel it too."

"I know Gil, it's just something that I will have to process and hope that Janet can be patient with me."

Janet had dropped the kids off at school and was on her way to her emergency appointment with Grace. Grace was awesome at what she did. Surprisingly Janet and Toni had met after attending church with Sarah and Erica. Erica had invited them to the Potter's House LA to hear Warren preach one Sunday. Sarah introduced them all to Grace, she knew that Janet had been looking for a therapist and Grace had just moved to California.

"Mrs. Jackson, go right on in. She's waiting for you." Grace knew everything about Janet. It was more like she was talking to a friend rather than a therapist when she had sessions with Grace.

"Janet, good morning. What's going on? You sounded really stressed on the phone and that's not good for the baby."

"I am sexually frustrated, and I don't know what to do. The last month has been really hard especially the last week or so. At first I was pleasuring myself and it worked for a while now it doesn't work at all. You know that sex it like breathing to me. Having Toni there and not being able to touch her, love her and make love to her is driving me crazy."

"It sounds like you just miss your wife. How do you really feel about her being there but it not being here?"

"Honestly? I'm pissed off and angry because I can't keep holding down the household by myself. It's more than just sex. We shared all of the responsibilities in our marriage, now it's all on me and I really don't know how to handle it." Tears of frustration were now streaming down her face.

Grace observed through what she said and her actions that this was really affecting her but she was trying to hold it together not only for herself but also for their children. Thinking, Grace tried to figure out a way to help Janet but she was coming up with nothing. Janet began to speak again once her tears subsided.

"You know what she did last night? She cooked dinner. I appreciated it because I'm not the best cook. She also was up early this morning and made us breakfast."

"It seems like she is trying to connect with you and the children the best way she knows how. I know you don't want to hear this but give her some more time. This is all new to her and for her to just be thrown in to it, she handling it better than most."
