Earth 1

Janet and Toni

A year later

The couple's love has only blossomed more. Janet and Toni are couple goals for a lot of their friends and family. They have their disagreements and have had only one major fight. Janet is loving the space that they are in and feels like they'll continue to grow. Toni feels the same way. Their life together is wonderful. They are finally moving in together.

"Babe is this the last box?" Janet asks Toni.

She watches as the movers get the box load it on to the moving truck. Toni's smile is bittersweet, she'll miss her old home. It was easier for Toni to move into Janet's house because she had Journey and Toni only had a condo. Janet had stripped all the décor in her house because she wanted to redecorate it with Toni. She gave most of the furniture and some artwork to charity.

Janet had been in the studio recording music non-stop it seemed. Jermaine had produced a few of the track but most of them Jimmy and Terry did. She had so many songs to choose from that she didn't know yet what would be on the album. She was narrowing the choices down and she had an idea for a name. Toni had also been working on new music. Surprisingly it would be a duet album with Kenny. They had worked out their differences, Janet was okay with him but she was always skeptical of him. So she kept a watchful eye herself and had other people keeping tabs on him and his interactions with Toni.

Soon it would be the couple's anniversary and both women had surprises planned for the other. Their celebration would be a week-long as one of them is planning a surprise trip.

After settling and picking new furniture as a family, the child had gone to bed for the night and the women were enjoying each other's company. Their journey was an epic one but they'd finally found love in each other.

Earth 2

Janet and Toni

The women on Earth two were in the midst of planning their twins third birthday party. To say their house was a little chaotic would be an understatement. The kids had wrecked their playroom, it looked like a tornado hit. Gil was moving in until he found a new place. There was a string of dancers helping him to move. The couple's kitchen table looked as if someone had dropped every paint sample, fabric swatch and idea sketch there. They were in the process of redoing everyone's room. The older two kids needed more tween/teen style rooms and the twins would be separated for the first time in their little lives. Gil was choosing to redecorate his guest room as if he was staying permanently.

Janet and Toni barely had time for themselves. There was just too much to do with no time to do it. Shawn and Tamar saw how stressed out the couple had become and offered to watch the children while they took a few days for themselves. They decided to fly to Mexico for a much-needed vacation.

They rented a two-bedroom beach house that looked directly over the ocean. The water was so clear and appealing to the couple. This is what they need to ground themselves and destress. Their time spent there was well spent, and the couple returned home to tackle everything on their plate. They called a family meeting once they returned.

"Alright let's get to it. Here is what we need everyone to do. Everybody has a part to play." Said Toni.

"That's right." Janet agreed. Toni began to run down the list of things everyone needed to do for themselves.

"Okay adults first, Gil you need to make a final decision on paint color. You also need to choose your décor pieces. Jaylen and Tera you guys also need to settle on paint colors and pick the style of your furniture. Mommy and I will handle Tori and Josiah's rooms. The painters will be here next week."
