The Wedding

It was the couple's wedding day, all their close family and friends had flown to the Bahamas to watch the couple say their vows. The night before the woman had a small joint bachelorette party that Tamar had been in charge of throwing. Tamar threw them a wonderful party, they played games and drank the night away. As their night came to an end the couple split and each followed a different group of people. The resort had provided each of them with their own bridal suite to sleep the night before and to get ready in on the day of. It was wonderful to see how much in love the two women were with each other. Three years ago life for both women had looked very bleak and daunting. Today was a day of joy.

Toni's dress was a cream mermaid style dress with silver and gold beading detail down the back. Despite the beading work the dress was light weight and matched with the setting of their wedding. She chose the dress because she felt it most fit her personality, it was custom design by Carolina Herrera. The dress was everything Toni wanted and more. She was well pleased with how it turned out. As she sat in the chair getting her make-up done she couldn't help but to think about how far she and Janet had come. It was as if they finally made everything right in the universe. There was an air of calm and peace among them and everyone else witnessing their wedding. This moment had been written in the stars long before either woman knew it and for it to be finally coming to fruition was something a lot of people didn't expect.

The two women weren't doing this for others but for their selves because to them marriage was the ultimate commitment that showed the world their love. As the photographers moved around videoing and taking pictures the moment became surreal for both. Simultaneously they both began to cry, they cried tears of joy for this moment. It was theirs for the taking and nothing and no one could take it away. The people around them understood the moment and allowed them both to get their emotions together. Their spontaneous cry made their time schedule fall behind.

Janet sat in her chair crying tears of joy for this moment. Journey cuddled into her mother wiping her tears. Janet smiled at her daughter and nothing but love shone in her eyes. In that moment Janet knew that everything in her life was now right. She looked forward to her future with her daughter and her wife.

Janet's choice of a dress was one-shoulder form fitting gown with a split up to her mid-thigh on the right side. Her dress was also cream but was accented with the pastel/mint green. She also wore gold accessories and shoes. Her hair was done in an up style with a few curls around her face. It was something that most of the people attending the wedding didn't expect.

As the sun begun to set the music began to play and the two women walked down the aisle to be married. The ceremony was pretty quick, much faster than the expected it to be. The jumped the broom after being announced as wives for the first time. This moment for them was beyond surreal. They went a little further down the beach to take photos and then joined their family and friends drinking and dancing the night away.

"Good morning, Mrs. Jackson." Janet said to Toni after kissing her shoulder.

"Good morning, Mrs. Jackson." Toni replied pecking her lips.

The newly married couple got up and did their morning hygiene and dressed casually before meeting their family in a private dining room for breakfast. They decided to do this to see their family off before staying and going to their rental house for the next week and a half. Breakfast was filled with fun and laughter as the couple received the ultimate wedding present. Tyler Perry had gifted them with their own private home on one of his islands in the Bahamas. Janet and Toni were shocked at his gesture. He had even had people pack their things while they were at breakfast and put them on the boat that they would take to get to the house. All Toni kept thinking about was her wife in this two-piece white bikini and booty shorts she had on.
