Chapter 13

Earth 2

Toni

Toni woke up to soft cries. She looked around and saw Gil trying to feed Josiah. Josiah wasn't haven't he wanted his milk straight from the source. So he and Janet switched babies. He just cuddled and talked to Tori.

"Hey guys." Toni spoke softly. Gil looked up at Toni, there was something different about her eyes.

"Toni?"

"Yes Gil its me."

"When did Janet and I become good friends?"

"After the whole thing with Shawn during All For You era few years ago."

"Janet...Janet...Janet Damita Jo Jackson. That's your wife! Go hug her and tell her how you missed her."

Janet had been so focused on feeding Josiah and looking at the ocean waves that she hadn't noticed Toni was awake.

"Baby? Is it really you?"

"Yes, Jan. Now come here and give me a kiss." When she called her Jan she knew that her wife was back.

She kissed her wife passionately. "God, I missed you."

"Toni said that she loves you guys and she hopes to one see you guys again. She also said that Jan definitely knows how to put it down in the bedroom. She said that was the best sex she ever experienced. She's going back to tell her Janet that she loves her. That was what she needed to realize in order to go back."

"Well damn Queen. Do your thing!"

Toni was finally back were she needed to be and she was happy to be with her wife and children again. Gil was grateful too because he got tired of staying at their house. He handed Tori to Toni and left the new mommies to bond with their new additions to their family.

A few days had gone by since Toni returned to earth 2. The couple put out a birth announcement about the twins. Gil was sticking around and being a big help. Janet and Toni were both cuddled up each holding a baby with Jaylen next to Toni and Tera next to Janet watching movies. The kids were so into the movie that they completely ignored their parent's quiet conversation.

"Hey Jan, who came up with the twins names?"

"Actually you have Toni to thank. Both names came from her, I told her what initials they had to have and she just started saying different names. When she said Tori Sanaa something just felt right about it. The same with Josiah Samir."

"I love their names." Both babies were sleep, Toni got up to put them in the bassinet. They liked to sleep right next to each other. She quickly put them next to each other before either started crying.

"Our family is complete. We have our little tribe and a whole community who loves them."

"You know what I realized while being in Toni's mind?"

"What?"

"I learned to appreciate life for what it was. I realized that other people's opinions about us or our life don't matter. It's all about us and our family. I love you and the kids even more after having spent time away from you all."

"I love you too." They kissed, Jaylen and Tera both 'ewwed' at the kiss.

Earth 1

The Hospital

Two days after Toni woke up and Janet gave birth. Janet was getting antsy because she couldn't go home until her blood pressure stabilized more, it kept going up and down. She asked if she could leave her room and the nurses brought her a wheelchair. Tamar wheeled her to Toni's room as they entered Towanda was leaving.
