Seeing a message from Jungkook this morning had already put a smile on my face.

Riley: Thanks! I don't know how long everything will take, but I'll text you later 😊

Crawling out of bed, I paused as I sat on the edge, taking a deep breath as I walked to the bathroom to shower before Minho would come to pick me up.

I wasn't sure what exactly to wear today. We would just be talking with an attorney about our experience with Jay so we didn't need to be in formal wear, but I figured I would at least look nice. I pulled out a pair of my nicest skinny jeans along with a white button up blouse. Deciding the look wasn't complete yet, I grabbed my maron blazer and put that on as well along with some simple black flats.

As I was drinking my coffee, Minho texted me that he was here so I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. We said our good mornings and Minho proceeded to the office where Han had told us the attorney would meet us. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very kind secretary and told to wait for just a bit. When we sat down, I didn't realize how much my leg was bouncing until Minho placed his hand on my knee.

"Are you nervous?" Minho asked and I turned towards him, not really sure how I was feeling.

"I don't know. I shouldn't be right? Jay is in jail and this is going over everything so that he can stay locked up." Minho nodded.

"But you have to relive everything. She is going to ask you a lot of questions. Will you be ok?" I opened my mouth but stopped as I somehow didn't realize that I would have to tell them everything and possibly go into detail, details I didn't really give Minho. I closed my mouth and just nodded my head instead.

Minho went back first and was gone for about 30 minutes. I was thankful that I had brought my notebook with me so I could at least try to get some writing done. I was thinking of chords to songs that I thought would be perfect for a new BTS song as well as a song maybe for myself. In another section, I had different lyrics written on various pages; nothing pieced together, but just thoughts that I didn't want to lose.

"Painless." I looked up and saw Minho standing and smiling in front of me. "You got this!" He said before I stood up and looked over to see the secretary waiting for me to follow her.

She led me down a hallway and into a room that had one window and was pretty small, but comfortable. Once I entered, a woman stood up and held out her hand towards me.

"Hello Riley, I'm Hyun Somin." I shook her hand and smiled. "You can take a seat just there." She gestured to a comfortable chair on the other side of the small table. "Can I get you anything? Water? Coffee?" She asked.

"Oh no, I'm fine. Thank you." I sat down and placed my bag on the floor.

"So, I'm going to be asking you a lot of questions about yourself and the defendant. It may be uncomfortable at times so if you need a break at all, just let me know." I nodded and she continued. "Can you first tell me how you met Jay and what the relationship was like." I took a deep breath and recalled how we had first met.

"I had joined a dancers group that would perform for various idols in the area and Jay was one of those dancers. We hung out a lot as we were in the same friends group. Jay and I got closer and eventually started dating shortly after I joined." I watched as she wrote things down and nodded with my words.

"And what was Jay like when you first started dating?" She asked.

"He was very sweet. I had opened up to the group about losing my fiance and he comforted me a lot. I fell for his charm and how nice he was to me. Once we started officially dating, he still did nice things, but it quickly changed once we went out more with friends." I paused and looked down at my hands remembering how things started to shift the more I drank and partied.
