Benny's POV

Everyone got to the treehouse at around the same time. We all settled in and I immediately noticed a, probably evil, smirk on Ham's face.
"What's the smirk for Ham?" I asked. I was a little scared to hear his response.
"I have a great idea," he said. His smirk widened. I knew his idea definitely wasn't a great one. I knew I was going to regret asking this, but I did anyway. "What is it?"
The smirk on Ham's face nearly doubled in size. "We all should play truth or dare."

June, who was laying next to me, shot up. "Really?" She asked and rolled her eyes.
"What?" Ham seemed confused and slightly offended.
"That's a kids game," she said.
"We are kids," Yeah-Yeah butted in.
"That's not what I meant," June replied.
"I know what you mean," I said. "You are saying that truth or dare is a stupid game, right?"
"That is exactly what I'm saying Benny," she smiled.
I smiled too. "I couldn't agree more." Truth or dare was a stupid game. Nobody could change my mind about that.
Ham sighed. "Okay maybe it is a dumb game, but it's still fun. You both know that's the truth...so will you please play?"
"Fine, I'll play," June gave in.
I also caved. "I guess I'll play too."

There is the awkward moment of not knowing who should go first when playing truth or dare. Everyone is completely silent until someone starts the game. There wasn't that awkward moment this time. Nancy immediately spoke up. She apparently already had a person in mind. "Benny, since you are so excited to play I think you should be asked first. Truth or dare?"
I didn't want to do any dares. So I didn't even hesitate to answer the question. "Truth."
"Do you have a crush on anyone?" Nancy asked.
I tried to lie. "No."
"Liar," June laughed. I knew my face was now turning red, but there was nothing I could do about it. The best thing I could do was continue with the conversation.
"How did you know I was lying?" I asked.
"I know you very well, that's how," June answered. I kind of hate to admit it, but she was right. June knew me better than I knew myself. She without a doubt knew me better than any of the boys at the sandlot.
"Are you going to tell us who you like?" She asked eagerly.
"Why do you want to know so bad?" DeNunez remarked. I knew what he was implying and I gave him a death stare because of it.
"I want to tease him about it," June said like it was obvious.
"Unfortunately, I'm not telling you," I made sure to make that as clear as possible.
"I bet I can figure out who it is though," she said.
"I don't think you can," I replied.
"Is that a challenge?" A small smirk suddenly appeared on her face. June and I loved a good friendly competition, so I know she was enjoying this. I decided to egg her on a bit.
"It's a challenge you will lose."
June's smirk grew. "We'll see about that."
I rolled my eyes and laughed. She laughed with me. Anytime June and I ever playfully argued, we always ended up laughing.

We continued playing the game and honestly, it was fun. Everyone teased each other and also learned things about each other. I still think truth or dare is stupid, but it can also be fun.

After the game ended, we all sat around and talked till we fell asleep. I would say that it was a pretty good campout.
