You moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when you were 13 because your parents found a better job to support your family. Tony is your best friends through high school, you guys had most classes together and lived across the road from each other. As you and Tony got older you guys loved to dance, most afternoons you guys were either at the dance studio working on new routines or at Tony's house making tiktoks. Both your families are really close and often do dinners together, you aren't really home a lot as your parents argue and work all the time so you hang out at the Lopez's house. You knew Tony had an older brother named Ondreaz but you've never met him. Tony told you that Ondreaz travelled a lot because of his dance career.

Your POV I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, that's when I realised what today was. Today Tony and I were finally graduating high school, I had already planned on going over to his this morning so we could do our final trip to school together. As I roll over to check my phone I see that I have 2 messages, 1 from Tony and 1 from my mom

My parents had been fighting a lot lately and being working longer hours so I didn't see them that often. They'd missed a lot of mine and my brothers achievements growing up so I hoped they would be at my graduation. I understood that they were working hard so we were able to do things but this was a really big day for me and I didn't want them to miss out.

I jumped in for a quick shower then start getting ready. I pack some clothes into a bag as I was staying the night at the Lopez's then quickly put my hair into braids so my hair would be wavy.
