Chapter 6 •countdown to competition🗓

Your POV
It's been a few weeks since Tony, ondreaz and I were offered a spot on Sean's dance team. We trained 3 days a weeks with his team, we were also asked to do the "tempo" dance at the competition.
It was our last dance session before going we head out to San Diego for the competition which was 4 days away. In the middle of practice we heard an ambulance out front of the studio wheeling out one of our dancers. Sean walked back into the studio and pulled me aside

Sean- y/n I wouldn't ask unless I knew you could but I was wondering if you could do Alison's solo at the competition. The ambulance people think she's possibly done something to her knee

You- Sean if you need me to do it I'll happily do it. Just send me the music and dance routine and I'll come in tomorrow and work on it" I said with a smile on my face

Sean- thank you so much, you're  a life saver" he says letting out a sigh of relief

After 30 minutes we started to head back to the house, Ondreaz was driving and Tony was in the front seat leaving me in the back.

Tony- hey y/n what did Sean say to you when he pulled you aside?" He turns around asking

You- oh he asked if I could do the solo because Alison possibly has done something to her knee

Tony- are you doing it?" He asks with his eyebrow lifted

You- yeah I said if he needed I'll happily do it, I'm going back in tomorrow to work on it before we leave" I say now a bit unsure how I'm going to pull it off

Tony- are you nervous about it?

You- a little, I've seen her do the dance and it looked amazing but I'm not sure if I can be as good as her

Ondreaz- don't say that, I've watched you dance and I think you'll be fine" he says looking at me in the rear view mirror

You- thanks Ondreaz" I smiled at his comment, it was really nice to get a little boost of confidence.
We finally got back to the house and I head straight for the shower. It felt so good to have the hot water going through my hair.
After my shower I pack the rest of my bag, I had planned to do it tomorrow but since that I'm doing a solo I would be working on the routine most of tomorrow. 2 hours later I double check I had  everything before heading to bed.

Next day
It's 10:30am and I'm back at the studio to work on this solo routine. It's a bit tough but I'm half way through of learning the routine. I decided to have a break and watch the video again while I have some water. Then someone walked into the room and saw it was Ondreaz

You- hey what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be packing for the bus ride tomorrow?" Sean has booked a bus for everyone to get on so no one got lost and be a day early" I ask a little confused to why he was here

Ondreaz- I've already finished packing, thought I'd come down just to run through the dance routine and trio

You- oh okay" I say a little impressed, unlike his brother, Tony takes forever to pack

Ondreaz- shouldn't you be working on your solo?" He says a little confused

You- having a break at the moment, I'm half way through the dance. It should be another hour before I finish it off and make sure it's clean

Ondreaz- show me it so far

I got up and played the music "never enough" once it's half way I stop and paused the music.

Ondreaz- wow

You- wow as in good or wow not up to your expectations" I say out of breath

Ondreaz- wow as in I didn't know you could do that" he says while looking still shocked

You- okay then

Ondreaz- why do you think I'm going to say something bad?

You- because I feel like you have a problem with me. You stormed off after the pool fight, you tell me I'm behind in trio and you think I act high and mighty" I say with a annoyed tone

Ondreaz- I don't have a problem with you y/n, the day at the pool I overreacted so I'll apologise for that, the high and mighty comment I shouldn't have made I was just in a mood. As for me telling you that you were behind in the trio is me pushing you to go harder, I like the fact you try to prove me wrong. It reminds me lot with how I try to prove people wrong, so I'm sorry if you felt that I was being an asshole" he says sounding like he was genuinely sorry

You- I accept your apology. But yes, saying it behind does push me to work harder so I'll thank you for that" i smile

Ondreaz- no worries, I'll let you get back to the dance. If you finish early and I'm still here we can work on the trio if you want

You- sounds like a plan" I thought it was really nice of him to explain why he acted the way he has for the last week and a bit.

I went back to working on the solo, it toke another hour and 30 minutes to finish the routine and clean up little mistakes. By the time I'd finished it was coming up to 1pm, I walked into the other room to see Ondreaz working on the trio but with no shirt on. I stood at the door while he went through the routine, he was really good at what he does which really showed why I never met him. Once the music was done I walked over and put my stuff down.

Ondreaz- hey you finished the solo" he says a little out of breath

You- yeah toke a bit but it's as clean as I'm going to get it, I'll work on it more when we get to San Diego" I said as I put my stuff now near his

Ondreaz- okay, give me 5 minutes and we'll go through the trio

You- sure, is tony coming down at all?

Ondreaz- yeah he'll be here in half an hour. He's just doing few things at the house

You- sweet, let's get started

We went through the routine a few times before Tony arrive. Once he got to the studio we went through the dance for nearly 2 hours before heading back to the house. We bumped into Sean before we left, he reminded us to be back here tomorrow at 5:30am so we could be ready for the bus.

Ondreaz's pov
I went to the studio before we get on the bus tomorrow for the competition. I knew y/n would be at the studio since she wanted to make sure the routine was good. Once I got there I asked her to show me what the solo looked like so far, as she was going through the routine it looked amazing. I've seen her the last few weeks do the group routine but seeing her do this dance was just out of this world. Once she was done we talked and cleared the air. I was surprised she thought I had a problem with her but I could see why she thought that way, I have been a bit of a dick to her but I never meant it to hurt her. Sometimes my moods cloud everything but I've always wanted to push her to do her best.
Once she finished and Tony turned up we worked on the routine making sure it was good to go. We talked to Sean as we were leaving and decided to head back to the house.

Your POV
I went to bed early that night after spending most of the day at the studio. Everything was packed all I had to do was to get ready, have food and get to the studio. I crash in Ondreaz's and Tony's room for the night so I wouldn't wake avani up. Just as I'm  was in a middle of the best dream I felt someone lightly shake me
