The big day

Today was the day that my boss was giving promotions to only two people.

The position was a manager position for the people who just signed a record deal.

I wanted first dibs on deonte I knew that being his manger would bring me closer to getting to know him and him actually noticing me. So I had to be prepared if there was 5 other people after the promotion.

So I got up took a shower did my hygiene put on some make up and flat ironed my hair straight

Since  I wanted to be noticed I went to my closet and picked out a royal blue  blouse a fited black skirt with some tan pumps .

I wanted deonte to notice me since they had say so in who they wanted to be there manager

After I was situated I grabbed my keys and hopped in my all black camero with tented Windows and  leather seats

I went by Mic donalds and ordered some food before I went to work. On Mi way to work I listened to some music to ease my nerves since I was kind of nervous

When I got there I got situated at mi desk then mi boss came out of his office and called 5 people into his office. My heart started beating really fast because I didn't think I was going to make it in since I was like the 4th person he called.

We sat down inside and seen he had two people standing beside him.  It was the two newbies that just signed a record deal.  Of course you know one of them was deonte.  I tried to stay focused but I just couldn't stop looking at him he was looking so good just standing there looking all serious.

Our boss read our profiles out to them so they could choose who they wanted . Before they picked we walked up them greeted them with a handshake  our name and a smile.  When I shook deontes  hand it felt soft but firm and i got lost in his eyes when he smiled at me I could tell that he was feeling me because I could feel him staring at me when I went to go sit down. 

The final decision was made and The boss called out two peoples name.

Boss Pov

Catherine and Denise you have been promoted to manger position.  Catherine meet Jacob your new client and Denise meet deonte your new client.  You both will receive a bonus in your check as well as a  pay raise please exchange numbers with your client so that you can keep in touch. You all have a nice day and congratulations

My heart started to beat really fast because I was so overwhelmed not only was I going to be working with mi crush but I was getting paid big money for Wat I was doing. I started off getting paid 1500 every two weeks now I'm getting paid  twice that I'm making 6gs a month. I pulled out my blue studio 5 phone and exchange numbers with him he told me that he wanted to set up a meeting Tommrow at 3 to talk about his career so he gave me the address to the restaurant and told me to make reservations I smiled and walked out.

Since I was in manager position I didn't have to finish work so I went home and texted mi best friends Rochelle and Lady Z I told them I wanted to celebrate tonight so we were going out and I had great news to tell them and they agreed .

how will Rochelle and Lady z react about Denise new crush?
will Denise and deonte hit it off at the meeting or will he just keep ignoring her?
