"Dangit! I'm gonna be late!" You cursed as you ran out of your house in Outertale. You had promised to help Grillby with the restaurant today. You bolted out of your house and down the street, turning sharply around a corner.

"Hey Y/n!" You heard someone call out to you. Turning your head you saw MK (Monster  Kid) smiling at you brightly. 

"Hey kid!" You yelled back, waving your hand.

You smiled at him one last time before turning a corner, you wanted to check up on someone before you went to Grillbys for the day. Turning another corner you found your destination. A cliff that overlooked the stars and galaxy that surrounded the moon. Along with the cliff, you saw someone sitting on the cliff's edge. Your good ol' friend, Blue. 

"Hey Blue!" You yelled.  Blue turned his head to look at you, he gave you a smile which you returned with an even bigger one.

"Hey, Y/n!" He greets back. 

"What're you doing?"

"I'm just watching the stars. Aren't they beautiful?" He asks, going back to look up at the sky as a comet shoots by. You smile in response, giving a simple nod before Blue seems to realize something.

"Oh! I have a question for you!" Blue states as he turns back to you. You tilt your head curiously.

"What is it?" You ask. 

"I'd like you to meet someone, is that okay?" He smiles, almost shy like.

"Really?" You weren't ever sure if Blue did have any other friends than you. He always seemed so alone whenever you saw him. "I mean, sure, why not? I wouldn't mind meeting someone new" You laugh, replying after your odd seconds of silence.

"Great! I'll come find you at Grillby's later then" Blue states, trying to hide his excitement. 

(He was fairly bad at hiding it)

"Alright! Well-" You started to walk off but paused mid-step. "Wait, how'd you know I was working at Grillby's today?" You turn back to look at him in question. Blue smiles at you with a bright smile.

"Just a hunch" He chuckles. You roll your eyes playfully. 

"Whatever. See ya later Blue!" You walk off. You couldn't help but wonder who you would be seeing later today. Did they even live in town? You've never seen Blue talk to a lot of people here.

Slosh! slosh!

Small waves of water formed and hit the walls of the sink as you moved your hands around searching for the last dishes to rinse off. 

"C'mon, where are you?" You murmur to yourself, continuing your hunt. A small little chime of the doorbell brings your attention away from the dishes. You turn your head to peep out the kitchen door to see Blue walking in the restaurant. He almost seemed a little disgusted coming in here. You mentally rolled your eyes.

 "Heya Blue!" You called out to him from the kitchen. His disgust dissolved when he saw you. 

"Hey Y/n, you almost done here?"

"Yeah, just about!"

"Alright, cool"

"So how was your day?" You started to talk for a little until the fire monster, Grillby walked in from taking the trash out back to throw in the dumpster.

 "Y/n," He said in his calm voice, turning towards the Blue and giving him a small nod before turning back to you. "Your shift is done for the day, so you can leave now"
