Hello again! So so happy that you guys liked the last part! It made me so happy! I hope you like this part just as much (or even more, hahaha). Btw, if there are any misspellings it's either because my computer doesn't want to correct them or because I write so fast that I don't even realize it. Heh.

Emery's POV
"You were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago! We have to go!" I tell Ally over the phone. "Yeh I know, but I met this really cute guy and-"
"Ally!"
"Fine fine fine fine fine. I'll be there in 5 minutes. And what does it matter if we're too late?"
"What? We're going to the movies. Everything matters." I say and we hang up. I get my purse, keys and card and go downstairs. "Going somewhere?" Dad asks from the kitchen.
"Yeah, Ally and I are going to the movies. We're watching It: Chapter 2."
"Just the two of you? So no guys?" He continues. I was kind of stupid for thinking that he wouldn't ask that. "Yes. Just the two of us."
"Good. Cause you're not dating until you're 80." God...
"Ha ha, very funny." I say just before I hear a knock on the door. "Got to go. Bye!" I say and leave the house.
"Finally you made it!"
"Yes, I'm so sorry but really. This guy- Oh my Gooooood." Hahaha, Jesus. This girl and her guys. "Anyway. Ready to go?" I say and laugh. "Yepp." We take the bus to the city center and walk from there to the cinema. And of course there is a loooong line to It: Chapter 2, well that's kind of obvious. It's kind of a big movie. BUT after a long time we were finally in and we take our seats. "This is going to be AMAZING!" We both yell at the same time while some person behind us tells us to be quiet. Oops. The movie starts and I'm kind of already out of snacks... Can't blame a girl for eating everything during the commercial. Heh...
"The movie was so good!" Ally screams when we get out of the cinema. "I don't know... It wasn't scary enough. I would like it if there were more jump scares and... I don't know- just more scary stuff." I laugh. "I mean don't get me wrong, it was a good movie and all but I just expected more. I guess I could strike it off my list though." I continue as we get on the bus. The bus is pretty full but we manage to find seats near the door for us both.
"Your list? Look, if you haven't found any horror movie that has scared you yet you probably never will." Ally says.
"I know! But I want to be so scared to basically turn the tv off. I need to find that movie." There's got to be some movie that I'm scared of right?
"Yeah, well. Don't get your hopes up."
After about 30 minutes I'm home, Ally and I live pretty close but she's closer to the bus station. Auden is probably asleep by now or playing videogames. I go up to my room and change not pajamas and then go downstairs again to grab something to eat. "Oh, hey mom. Didn't know you would be up." I say as I open the fridge.
"I couldn't sleep. Your dad's snoring kept me up."
"I thought you said that it was adorable?"
"Oh no it is. Sometimes..." She laughs. "But what's going on with you? It was a long time since we spoke just the two of us. Anything new? " She asks and takes a sip out of her tea.
"Ehm... Well I kind of need help." I say and take a seat in front of her.
"Okay. With what?"
"Well... There's a guy in my class."
"Oh-oh... Trouble?" She asks.
"No."
"So what is it?"
"Well he's kind of weird with me." I say.
"What? How do you mean weird?"
"Well for starters he got my number from someone. And I don't know who."
"Okay..." She looks at me skeptically. Why is she looking at me skeptically?
"Then he started talking about him and... Ehm... Being with girls..."
"What?" Really mom?
"Being with girls. Alone." I say and give her the look.
"I don't get it." Omg...
"Sex mom." And as I say that she nearly spits the tea out of her mouth.
"OH! Oh..."
"Yeah..."
"So what did he say to you?" She asks.
"Not much. He did call me 'shortie' though."
"Ooo..." She says teasingly.
"I think someone has a crush on my baby." Oh dear God.
"Mom I'm 18. Stop calling me that."
"You'll always be my baby Emery."
"Anyway. He does not have a crush on me." I say back.
"We'll see about that." She says and leaves me along in the kitchen. Is she for real? No, Jake does not have a crush on me. If anything he thinks I'm annoying.
The next morning I wake up in the morning, get dressed, eat, brush my teeth and do some final changes and then I'm off to school. I meet up with Ally and we take the bus together but unfortunately we're not in the same class in the morning. I am in the same class as Jake though. Yeey. "What's up shortie?" He says and takes a seat next to me. Again, like last time.
"First of all, I'm Emery not shortie and secondly nothing's up. We're in class and I'm thinking about doing the same thing I did to you yesterday in class."
"And what's that?" He asks.
"Ignore you." Although it may have not worked I still tried.
"And how did that work for you?" He leans in. But before I have a chance to answer Jake Mr. McPelt enters the room.
"Welcome to today's class. We will be continuing the topic of WW2." He says and sits down on his chair, fixing his books and pencils. "You will be working in teams today, so look to the person to your left, that's your partner. No switching." Oh no. No no no no no no.
"Hello partner." Jake smirks. God...
"You know what? Let's just start the assignment okay?" I say and open my book to the page we're supposed to read. Buuuuut about 40 minutes into the lesson Jake and I had turned WW2 into movie topics.
"Oh please! Heath Ledger was so the best Joker!" I say.
"No no no! Jack Nicholson is the best! His performance was so fucking good!"
"Okay... What about the best Avenger character then?" I ask.
"Well, there's only one answer to that question. But to be honest the real question is Team Cap or Team Iron Man?"
Now this is the question that only has one true answer.
"Well... Obviously Team Cap." I answer. But Jake stays silent. Oh no. Don't- don't tell me that he's-
"Team Iron Man baby."
