Hello! I hope all of you are doing well! As I mentioned in last week's update, my life is ridiculously busy right now between work things, moving and my wedding so this will be the last update until the second week of September (likely September 11th)! I really hope you don't give up on this story during these next four weeks. I'd really miss seeing you read and interact with this story, which is really near and dear to my heart. I did want to do a question of the chapter to leave things, so please comment below with your answer: Who is your favourite character so far? (Overall favourite, or favourite human and favourite deity!). Let me know! I'll still be respond

The next few weeks went by in a blur and Danika found herself two weeks away from the end of the course. Her class had visited Kommos, Mount Ida and Crete and they were now on Mykonos, the party centre of Greece. The gods hadn't gotten any closer to finding Marsyas, but there hadn't been any new attacks. By the time Lexi woke up, she had no idea what had happened so Zeus wiped her memory and sent her back to Canada.

Danika considered the lack of the undead satyr a blessing as all of her focus was used up while studying excessively for her final exam. She refused any help from the gods, wanting to prove that she was a good student.

Julie and Marcus were doing better in the course after adopting some of Danika's study habits. They followed the same routine of quizzing each other with flash cards, taking turns reading out loud and exchanging notes.

It was a Friday night and Danika decided that enough was enough. "Let's go party."

Julie and Marcus both looked up.

"Did I hear you correctly?" Julie asked.

Marcus chuckled. "I think I need to get my hearing checked because I think Danika told us we should party."

Danika stuck her tongue out at the twins. "Very funny, but I'm serious. We've studied like crazy and I'm finally ready to let loose."

The twins didn't need any convincing before they threw their books to the side.

"I know Mykonos is known for clubs and I've never been to one before because the drinking age in my part of Canada is nineteen. I think it's about time I give it a chance."

Julie jumped off of her bed. "You don't need to tell me twice!" She ran to the closet and started searching through her clothes.

Danika did her makeup in the washroom, adding a bit of eyeshadow and an extra layer of mascara. "Is what I'm wearing ok?"

"You're hilarious," Julie yelled from the closet. "If you're going to go clubbing, you have to do it right. I have a dress I've already worn that you might like."

Danika walked out of the bathroom and straight into a smiling Julie. She was holding up a very short single-sleeved dress. "Oh no."

     Julie nodded. "Oh yes."

Danika laughed. "Is this even going to cover my ass? You're a few inches shorter than me!"

"You're going to look super hot in this," Julie smirked.

Marcus looked up at them. "I agree."

Danika's mouth dropped open. "Marcus! You have a girlfriend," she complained.

Marcus laughed. "Yes and I love her very much, but it doesn't make me blind. Wear the dress."

Danika groaned. "Fine," she grumbled before snatching the hanger from Julie and trudging back into the washroom.
