Self Destruction Is Such A Pretty Little Thing

Chapter 16

I slowly opened my eyes to see Ben standing by the bed holding a cup of water. I sat up and he handed it to me.

"I promised you I would be here when you wake up" he said with a smile. He was so sweet.

"Thank you" I said taking the cup from him and taking a sip. Ben lent down and placed his lips onto mines the kiss was short but nice.

"Have they said anything about when I can leave?" I asked. He nodded

"They said they wanted to do more tests on you and then you can leave" He answered. "Jessica and the boys are on their way aswell"

"How long have you been awake?"

"About two hours" I looked at the time, it was 9am. That means he has been awake since 7, wow.

"Annabelle, if you ever feel like doing this again, promise me you'll contact one of us. I don't ever want to see you in this position ever again, do you understand" I nodded. "Promise me?"

"I promise" he smiled and kissed my forehead and then took a hold of my left hand. I heard a sigh come from his lips, he could see my cuts. I felt sick, I just wanted to crawl into a hole. I tried to pull my hand away but he just held onto it tightly.

"I don't wanna see anymore of these either!" Pulling my wrist towards his face, he placed light kisses on each of the cuts. No one had ever done that before. Everyone, apart from Jessica who saw that I self harmed had called me an attention seeker. I felt loved by someone other than Jessica. I thought that if Ben saw them he would judge me, I guess I was wrong. I truly do love him, I loved him before he knew who I was, before he knew I existed.

"Knock knock to the fucking knock knock" me and Ben both turned to the direction of the door and saw Danny standing there with a toothy grin. "Good morning lady and dick, how are you feeling today Bellion"

"Bellion....really? And I'm fine thank you, yourself?" I said whilst laughing.

"Yes really and Wooo I made you smile and I'm great thank you very much" he replied and step through the door and walked over to my bed. He gave me a hug and looked at my arm, which Ben was still holding. "Now!" He pointed at me. "No more, understood?" I nodded

"I'm here!" Jessica said as she made her way through the door followed by Sam James and Cameron. "Out of my way!" She said whilst pushing Danny out of the way and hugging me, I returned the hug. "Feeling ok?"

"Yep!" I hugged the rest of the boys. James placed a bag on my bed. "What's this?"

"We brought you some spare clothes to change into!" James said with a smile

"Thank you" just then a nurse walked in.

"How are you feeling Annabelle?" She asked

"Good thank you"

"Ok we are ready to do the tests, so everyone will have to go wait in the waiting room".

"How long will we be here?" I asked, I wanted to go. The nurse sighed.

"A while, probably a few hours" she replied

"What?!" Ben asked in shock

"They said she could leave in the morning!" Sam added

"I know but it for her own good" the nurse replied and motioned for them to go. A pissed of Asking a Alexandria and Jessica made their way to the waiting room

-------- 10 hours later (7:05 pm)--------
I came out of the toilets dressed and ready to go, I had to stay for 10 hours and none of us were happy about that. I made my way over to Jessica and the boys in the waiting room.

"We all ready to go then?" Danny asked whilst standing up. We all nodded and made our way out of the door. Once out, we all climbed into Danny's 8 seater. Danny in the front driving, James in the passenger seat, Ben behind Danny, me next to Ben and Jessica sat on my left and Sam and Cam in the back. As I looked out of the window I saw that we had drive straight past out apartment.

"Um...where are we going?" I asked

"Oh yeah the boys want to us stay with them until they go back on tour" Jessica answered

"But..?"

" They have a house that they don't use and it's got enough rooms for all of us, you and Ben are sharing, Danny and me are sharing and James, Sam and Cam all have their own room." I didn't say anything, I just placed my head onto Ben's shoulder

Once we arrived at the house, Danny went and got everyone a drink, I told them I was tired so Ben took me up to our room, he waited outside whilst I changed into some p.js and climbed into the double bed. Ben then came back into the room and payed down next to me.

"You gonna be ok?" He asked

"Yeah but can you stay with me until I fall asleep please"

"Of course I can beautiful" I just smiled and snuggled closer to him. He began humming into my ear, my eyes became heavy.

"I love you Ben!"

"I love you too Annabelle" was all I heard before I drifted of into a peaceful sleep.
