Somewhere something incredible is waiting to be known.

I walked back home from school, my school bag hanging over my shoulders.
It was the last day of my final year in high school. Now all that remained was graduation.
I breathed in the evening breeze. It was around 4pm right now. A few more minutes before I arrived home.
I took my time to admire the sky and the clouds. If I had to be anything in the future, I would be an astronomer. I adored the outer space and everything in it. Something about outer space intrigued me. The sun, moon, stars and planets was interesting to learn about.
If I entered college one day, that is what I would study. Astronomy. Knowing my parents, I wasn't sure if I could go that far in my education.
Minutes later I reached the house. I greeted my parents when I entered, earning a hum in response from my dad but nothing from my mom.
They didn't even glance my way. My dad was watching a sport channel on TV while Mom had just come out of their room and was headed towards the kitchen.
I carried myself upstairs to my bedroom, freshened up and changed into comfy clothes. I sat on my bed, willing myself to rest up a bit when I suddenly had a sinking feeling in my gut.
Not understanding whatever I was feeling, I got up from my bed and walked out of my room, moving towards my sister's room which was at the other end of the hallway. I had no idea what I was doing or why I was doing this. But I had a feeling I had to talk to my sister.
I guess I'm I missed my sister a lot. After all she was my best friend. Or maybe she still is, I don't know.
Her room door was a bit open but I still knocked anyway.
"Come in." I heard her say from the other side.
I cautiously entered her room and closed the door behind me. She was sat on the floor, seemingly sorting out some of her clothes.
"Yes Mom?" Why did her tone sound so icy if she was referring to mom?
She hadn't noticed me yet and it made me nervous. I took in a deep breath and rubbed my palms together, something I did when I was anxious.
"Lily." I said in a low and quiet tone.
She turned around and her eyes widened at the sight of me.
"Lisa?"
